I first knew Ethan Hawke when I was in high school. I was a member of English Club and our teacher played the VHS of Before Sunrise in class and that was my first impression of him. 25 years passed and he's still my favourite.

For example, people who is always talking about their emotions, even in casual settings, is dense. I now realize that it may not translate very well!

So many of the movies that touched my heart have been those Ethan Hawke's been in. The Before series, Waking Life, Dead Poet.. & the documentary where I bawled the most at was Seymour: An Introduction. Someone who's integrated so that he knows his values, which aligns with his thoughts & actions, so that he's at ease. & Ethan Hawke's existential moments in that documentary touched me too. His thoughtfulness & how down to earth he is. I wish I had a friend or mentor like Ethan Hawke ❤
