That's me in close up surfing the crowd at the 1:53 mark. My friend with me at that show found this vid yesterday, saw me, and showed it to me. 26 years this vid has been floating around and it found me today. So trippy.

bobitussin X : Crazy how shit like that happens! 26 years has passed. I was just thinking how many people in that audience are even still alive after a quarter of a century. But you're still here. Cool.

GREAT drummer. Bad Ass Pearl drumset! Original "R.I.M.S." Mounts! Sweet! Too bad "power toms" dont come standard anymore, people said they were harder to tune... b.s., they sounded sweet. Deeper and fuller tone. The dif bet a 14x11 floor tom and 14x14 - same goes for all tom sizes, those deeper shells sounded more full and resonant... "deeper" and heavier sounding. Sweet drumset, GREAT drummer. Sim Cain still one of the most underrated drummers in rock music. A huge influence on me.

Love this video! I saw Lollapalooza that year in Dallas and there was no one there this early in the day. We walked up and sat as close to the stage and watched Rollins jamming like a madman while everyone sat in their seats.

One of the best live bands and that line up..... I’ve ever seen .....I was 21 in Perth that gig in early 90,s influenced the rest of my musical life and how I wanted to gear a band the energy and the rage and passion Never forget him saying to all the bikers at the back of the gig in Perth how do ya like shooting George bushes smack .

That just made me spit my drink. Haha! He just doesn’t give a fuck. I can imagine biker dudes confronting him and thinking twice, though. The way he throws himself into what he does with everything on the line.... He can give that cutting stare and everyone knows what he’s thinking: try me; I might lose, but I’m taking a few of you down with me.

This tour, (at Great Woods in Mansfield, MA. ) was my introduction to Henry and to Rollins Band. I didn't know who he was or what he was about. I was way in the back field with binoculars looking at the stage, not really digging it at the time, wondering... Who's that short haired guy trying to do heavy metal? A year later, a friend introduced me to his spoken word stuff, which led me to check him out more thoroughly. Been a fan and admirer now for 21 years. Thank God for Henry Rollins.

I went to the first and third Lollapaloozas and the conditions were awful. The first one didn't have enough water and it was extremely high priced. You had to wait in a long line to purchase tickets then wait in another line to get the water. People started passing out so the promoters started throwing water bottles into the crowd. FUCK festivals. The bands were great tho, especially Siouxsie.

The irony of the whole thing is that Rollins is pretty much a dork. A dork that would beat the piss out of you or anyone like you. I saw this band and they pretty much caused a riot--every one bum rushed the floor and the bouncers went flying in all directions--they opened for Janes addiction
