If your skin doesn’t break out in goosebumps from 2:02 onwards you’re dead inside. Amazing performance from the Rollins Band at the absolute peak of their power.

I did and ill tell ya. I went to a weight tour and illumination tour. Best and most brutal front man ever. Black boxer shorts and gave it 110% everytime. Slaughtered bands that came before and after.. ROLLINS BAND!!!!!

Clean, sharp, pro, sticking to original and magnifying it powerfully : Rollins Band. RATM sound like lullabies next to this heavy album of big WEIGHT. Not tired since I discovered this band in a Beavis and Butthead episode back in the mid 90's. Then I bought the album and got addicted and still am up today.

I am so stoked to see this. At 16 I took a 4.5 hour bus ride and talked my way into 18+ unibar to see this tour (400 ish people). I still talk about Volume 4 in hushed tones. So much pain crushed into 'the diamond'. Well done. Thank you.

Thanks for the upload. I remember recording this on video. Been looking for it, for years. I was there, this track, the album 'Weight', and having a ticket on that day to Reading, was cathartic for me, as I saw one of my friends died, 3 weeks prior, to going. Rollins helped me through some tough times.

A truly ball-tearing powerhouse performance by HLG and his merry men. Rollins Band at their raw, uncompromising peak mid-90s I guess. Spectacular!

I spend time, searching my mind, walking blindly I'm alive but I don't know why my thoughts threaten me Paranoia, fear and guilt, I hope I don't explode I'm a bomb that ya can't diffuse A gun that ya can't unload I don't listen, I don't know, man I don't care You're talking 'bout all the hell you've seen Man, I live there Talk to me and it goes right through I never heard a word you said Save your breath 'cause it's no use You're talking to the living dead Oh, bullet driven eyes, yeah, what can you tell me? Oh, I'm living in a nightmare, yeah I'm on the edge, shrinking back from the ledge Looking out my window, down upon my heritage Strip malls, thin walls, people paralyzed beneath the sun Why me, why now? I see the dirty millions and I try to survive somehow Got no reasons, got no needs I hear gunshots, I hear screams What can you do to me, what can you say? I used to be alive but I threw it all away I used to have problems, I used to live a lie I've seen the sidewalk bleed And I watched the mother cry I used to have a mind, I used to wonder why But now I go from day to day and wait around to die like he did Like he did (x4)

Saw the Rollins band many times in the early 90’s, always ROCKED! Best was when they opened for Janes Addiction in 1990 at Chicago’s Aragon Brawlroom…. Epic.

This song is one of the most intense pieces of music ever put to tape. The song is about the mugging of Rollins and Joe Cole, his best friend that was murdered right in their front yard. The song is called volume 4 because that was Joe and henry's common favorite album. "I don't listen, I dont care. You talk about all hell you've seen, but man I live there."
