It's a tank engine not a spitfire engine as it does not have a supercharger. I've seen this car in Spain (Marbella) in the mid 90s. You could hear it coming from a few streets away.

@@snegik Yes it is called the Meteor. It is the same basic engine as the Merlin but without the supercharger. The Meteors were also recovered and unservicable (for aircraft use) Merlins less the supercharger.

@@DangermuffinVideos it was just standing inside the workshop. The owner told me that the owner of the car needs to find someone else because hes not able to fix whatever is broken. He said the guy came there last week to take it to get cleaned and he started the car and they had to evacuate the workshop for about 30min because of all the exhaust fumes😂😂😂

It's a Merlin without the turbo as it was taken off, also had a wet sump conversion. So that's it it's a friggin Merlin shut faces

Als deutsche Piloten im WK2 gefragt wurden, welches Flugzeug sie am liebsten fliegen würden, gaben die meisten an eine Spitfire, die hatte den 1600 PS starken Merlin Motor. low horsepower because it doesnt rev above 2500rpm and horsepower is torque times revs my man. and torque accelerates. and the v12 meteor has roughly 2000Nm of torque at 2500rpm. so tell me, how much torque does your fiat 1.1 have? about 20nm probably yhea cool
