Thank-you for the clarification! I saw that _la revedere_ was shown in the video but wasn’t certain if it was the formal or not. I kind of guessed it was (since it followed _pa pa_ as _another_ way to say goodbye, and that conversation seemed informal. But it’s good to get the certainty. Thanks!

2:29 "Mmm pare rau" 😂. îmi is pronounce like its written, though indeed when its spoken fast , the last i disappears. But I didn't know what you were saying, so clearly it doesn't work by pronouncing slowly the distorted version. We have plenty of ways to distort speech when speaking very fast. For example I almost never say "trebuie". I say "tre". ("Tre sa plec.")

Interesting influence from (or on) some Slavic languages noticed even from Lesson #1: For example, Pa pa (used for bye bye in at least Polish, Slovak, Ukrainian). Also "trebuie" seems to be used like "trzeba" in Polish (one should/have to/must), similarly in Slovak (treba) and Urkainian (треба).

Double PA isnt needed for bye (its like in english one bye is enough) ,also for multumesc one easy option is mersi (while yes its a copy-paste from french it does the same and it works as thanks ) and my only dislike is the accent in the video makes it sound slavic also i understant its slower for the lesson here but it sounds weird like a strange"moldovian" accent."IMI PARE BINE" can be substituted with just "Pare bine".

You can improve your pronunciation simply knowing all the vowels in Romanian : letter A is Always said like in the words CAR , FAR , LARD ( very clear and loud) , letter Ă is only for the sound like in the first sylable of Ră -du-CA-nu ! Letter E is used only for the sound like in the words NET ,SET , MET ! , U Always like in Răducanu , Begu , Andreescu , never in other way , very loud and CLEAR ! LETTER i always shows the sound like in the words : IN , FIN , LID ,ITALIAN

It's pretty to my ears - kinda sexy. Will it be useful for work or daily general use? No, most likely not. However, it's possible to make friends just about anywhere in the world these days so maybe I'll meet some great people.

I mean it's somewhat close at times, but lots of very obvious misspronouncings. a always sounds like AH never like UH or like the a in ant ă always sounds like UH you totally ommited pronouncing the "să" in "Poți să vorbești mai rar te rog" no time to point out more but you can do a lot better.

1. the romanian pronunciation is pretty bad because you used people from moldova that have russian accent. 2. most of the romanian translations of the english words are just equivalents of the ideeas. in fact they do not literally mean the same thing. 3. the short explanations you give (after a word/sentence) are even more confusing. better not to make these comments.
