Welcome to the 5th part of the ROMANO BRITISH campaign. We are the last remnant of the Roman Empire. Now it is time to revenge on the barbarians and conquer all of Britannia in the name of Rome. Will we re-found Rome or take a different path?

I give my greetings to Imperator Aurelian the 'Pendragon'(extra spunk since that's the normal title you get). I must give my immediate congratulations for the unification of Britannia, it is truly a milestone incomparable to any other. Now then, onto business. I see we have begun conquests in mainland Europe, I propose we march into the northern coastlines of Europe and occupy them first. That way any invading force will have to take a far longer route to get to the Crownlands. I would also suggest building minor ports across these occupied holdings to allow for easier travel. Secondly, I believe we should forge an Alliance with the Kingdom of Italy. With their might and ours combined we can easily push those foolish Egyptians out of Gaul. Perhaps from there we can work out where the borders shall be drawn between Italy and Britannia, perhaps a partionining of Western Europe. Finally, I say we must not push into Germanica unless absolutely necessary. The heathens there still follow their tree gods and possess unnatural powers, we should wait until we've settled Western Europe. The Northern Barbarians are not Gods Arishok. Marius fought the Teutones,Ceaser used many as Mercanaries,Emperor Marcus Aurelius and Gallianus fought many wars against them. Not to mention We have fought them from our shores since the days of Constantine the Great. They Posses no magic save for there sailors who are exceptional (or saids Jordanes in his bookThe Origins of the Goths) We should Bring them to Heel before we Conquer Gaul or at the Least Establish Colonies settled by some of the Toughest Legionaries to keep them at bay Retribution is needed before we get bogged down with wars on the continent. I suggest that further building projects be undertaken in the lands under Aurelian as well as the placatement or replacement of the nobles in Ireland with ones of the same religion. I would also suggest negotiating an alliance with the Roman successor state in Italy and together bringing back Constantinople into imperial hands once more.

Greetings fellow Senators. Today I bring forth a Purposal... A purposal of new beginnings. In the 3rd Century AD there was a Nation known as the Gallic Empire, that spanned Gaul and Britannia. I was able to check trough historical documents and I can confirm that if we are able to reform this "Gallic Empire" we can reestablish Bureaucratic rule in Britannia AND Gaul. Alongside that it's the perfect place to split and and start establish outer colonies in farther lands like the Icey wastes of Scandinavia and with Gaul under out control we can split outwards into Hispania and Germania alongside Italia later on. Edit: I've played this mod and yeah the Gallic Empire becomes De-jure of the Diocese of Brittania and the 2 Diocese in gaul. And if you want after you form the Gallic Empire you can eventually possibly convert to Fuedalism and undertake the Path of Charlemagne and create a "New Roman Empire" if that's something you wanna take.

My Lord Aurelius, I congratulate your conquests in Britannia (and reaching 1k subs), yet i fear your newly conquered empire will never be safe until the barbarians who threaten it are no longer a threat. Let Italy and Egypt do what they wish, it does not concern you. What you must do is conquer the lands to the East, Germania and Scandinavia have raided us for to long, we must unite them under the NORTH SEA Empire. This will give us the strength to conquer south, nobody will be able to stop us, not Italy, not Egypt, not even Rome itself would stop us. We would rule Supreme!

I, senator G413, come forth to the senate with a new proposal. Italia is a noteworthy empire, being the last remaining Roman polity other then Britannia. As such, we should focus on building an alliance with them and take back Gaul from Aegyptus. The alliance with Italia with be crucial for this goal to retake Gaul and possibly to defend from the growing Rashidun Caliphate. The Caliphate is a growing threat, Imperator. After their conquest of Constantinople, i do fear they may come for the rest of Europa.

Reforming the Gallic Empire would be a great choice sense it wouldn't intefere with Italian interests on reforming the Western Roman Empire.

Greetings estimed ruler Aurelian i have a few suggestions. First most we should make a strong alliance with the Kingdom of Italy. Taking advantage of the new alliance, i propose to further expand our conquest of the mainland, and reunite the gallia province all under Roman control

My utmost congratulations to emperor Aurelius after his recent victories. Under his rule i am sure we will recover our long lost glory. Here are my suggestions. Probably we should focus on the conquest of southern Gaul, if we seize Lyon that will enhance our economy and let bolster even more comitatenses regiments. Besides we will be fighting Egipt, which we all agree has overextended his rule over Gaul in an illegitimate way opressing our dear cousins who there reside. For this purpose we will absolutely need the help from the Stilichos at Rome. Together we can drive them off. Furthermore we will be in a good position to start campaigning in Hispania torwards Cartago Nova along the mediterranean coast. Thank you fellow senators for hearing my words. It is my humble opinion that Brittannia should be renamed to Northen Roman Empire, I also believe that invading Germania, installing hellenic rulers and then releasing them from servitude should cause enough chaos in the region to stop their barbaric invasions for a time, it's only fair after their constant raids brought the roman empire low before, maybe even create new friendly hellenic realms? As for the where to expand into after it is my belief that gaul and hispania should be brought back into the fold while the other powers who share our goal fight this new arabic threat no? they will probably be able to handle it after all they are still romans are they not?

@@theemperoraurelius Frisian, Saxons, Angles and Jutes are the ones who usually target our lands. I think the frisians should be our first target as their lands border both Gaul and Saxony, 2 of our objectives, after that placing a cousin or other relative of the emperor to rule over them independantly should boost the renown of your dynasty even further.
