I’m listening from the Philippines . We do chapter by chapter and verse by verse of the books of the Bible as well. I just want to thank you for your deep understanding of the Bible. You’ve been helping me a lot with your teaching.

Skip...you NAILED IT, why people can't or don't want to "sit" through one hour of God's smorgasbord of "fine foods" is beyond me. Even friends of ours, have left us because they feel ONE HOUR a WEEK is long enough to listen to God's word. Something wrong with this picture. My wife and I can't get enough of God's word, go 2 hours NO PROBLEM. We listen to a variety of beautiful teachers, ALL on the same page, we are hungry and thirsty for God's delicious word, just can't get enough, we love you and thank you for speaking God's truths into our lives, God bless..💖💖🕎🕎 George & Heidi from Niagara Falls Ontario, Canada

I strongly disagree. VERY much respect for your ministry or I would not be listening. Just to mention, if someone in today's time is in attendance for any Bible study, let's encourage them to stay for any length of time. They may not know that they want to sit for an hour, but may find themselves engrossed in the study (just as your teaching did with me). They are on milk. I believe the mature in faith can bear with one who is on milk getting up and leaving, just as one would do if someone got up in a theater for a snack. Just a thought. Perhaps that person wondered in, was invited or finally decided to hear the Word. Give it while you have them.

It took you an hour to give this study, but it took me four hours to go thru it and loved every second of it. The way you teach opens up the scripture for me to understanding, and I want to thank you.

Thank you for explaining in such a caring and heartfelt manner, for making the scripture clear to understand that Gods GRACE is available to WHOEVER listens and His unfailing love endures forever. Just choose HIM, not a religion or a practice. He is alive and wants us to have full lives in Him, because of Him. Messiah to ALL who believe.

Thanks Skip. If you can find a Britanica, an old one. Buy it! Out history is being re-imagined from our Woke society. Thanks for preaching God;s word!
@katesolis7563 жыл бұрын
I get that you have good intentions wanting to preserve truth, but the only book we should cling to for Truth is the Bible. Whether history is "woke" or "traditional" it will have its own flavor of human brokenness infused into it, same in this generation as in any other. We shouldn't make people feel as though they have to be excluded from God's people because we will look down on them for being "woke." The only reasons that should stop someone from becoming a Christian are that they haven't heard the Gospel or they are too prideful to admit that they are a sinner and only Jesus can save them, not because they feel like the Church will scoff at them for some political opinion that matters way less than if they believe the Gospel. Even the disciples had a variety of political backgrounds from working for Rome to trying to overthrow Rome

@@katesolis756 I'm afaid you have mis-judged what I meant when I was suggesting that Skip find an original "Britianica". That is from a pure secular world point of view, not the Biblical one. However, today we are as a sociatiy trying to "Re-write" history, and that is not only a lie, but gives those reading it a different view of what really occured. History (good or bad) shoudl not be changed just because you don't like or agree with it.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Pastor Skip. This session was the best and most well presented plan for the Lord's ultimate restoration of the Israeli people I have ever studied. The Lord is so full of grace to everyone and not willing that any should perish. Since 1948 and witnessing the recapturing of Jerusalem in 1967, one has to wonder on how much longer until that upward call of the rapture. Blessings my brother in Jesus. Tom David

Every Christian should read "The Destruction of Jerusalem" by George Peter Holford to understand how these events were fulfilled in the generation that Jesus was speaking to. At the very least, every Christian should pray and earnestly look into the Scriptures for themselves. For example, in John 19:34-37, the Apostle John tells us that Zechariah 12:10 was fulfilled while Jesus was hanging on the cross. Compare these two Scriptures: John 19:37, "And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced." Zechariah 12:10, "And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn." Ask yourself, is the promised pouring out of the spirit of grace and supplication only for the future? Jesus gave His Spirit to His followers on Pentecost and the 144,000 were the Firstfruits of Jews saved in that day, not 2,000 years into the future.

I really want to know why the Jews still reject Jesus if it is so obvious that He is the Messiah from the Old Testament. I mean, are we reading the same book as they are? Sorry if this was a dumb question. I’m a new Christian.
