@@evangelinemolly I also wanted to ask you about the ABH Brow powder. I’m a beginner with makeup I’ve been using it for about a year but I’ve never tried a brow powder, could you please give me some tips and suggestions on how to use it??

It’s really all about the tool you use when it comes to a brow powder. I like an angled brush that isn’t too small with a spoolie on the other end. I keep the powder mostly focused in the middle of the brow and feather it with the brush and spoolie. And just remember, practice makes perfect! Trying a new product can be a learning curve at first

I'm loving this series! I have no idea of wich essence I have, but I do love the romantic one, just because I love red lips+ winged liner. You rocked this one and the natural essence as well. I curious about the others essences, that system always confuse me, but see it as makeup makes it easier. And now I want to experment with it my self 🤣

But yes she's so fun! But also I feel like even if it's not 'you' this look is lovely on you, but also I think similar to chapell you can pull on lots of different fun looks and it works well for you!

That perfume sounds right up my ally! I've never heard of the Kitchener essences before, so I'm looking forward to exploring them with you like with your color seasons series. After skimming a couple articles, physically I'd say I'm majority ingenue. My casting in plays (when not ensemble) was either an ingenue or a slightly dramatic person. I'm thinking of the time I was cast as a daytime tv Oprah wannabe who constantly asked interviewees if they wanted to cry and a mom who was part of a family always trying to outdo their neighbors in holiday house decorating. But if I were to typecast myself in movies, I'd probably be the best friend or older sibling who's always there for the protagonist; the smart but also naive one who wishes everyone could just get along.

I love the finish from using a damp sponge, but hated wasting product, so I often apply with a brush and finish with a sponge blot. That works best especially on my nose. I love the romantic essence, especially since my favorite classic Hollywood faces are Elizabeth Taylor and Ava Gardner. It’s definitely why I always define my brows. This series is definitely going to be fun! I can’t wait to explore the essence types with you! I love the classic glam of this romantic look. You’re not bad, you’re just drawn that way.

I am so ready to do this idea with you!! I used to be very insecure about thinking I looked too masculine or androgynous in my facial features and that I looked best playing up those vibes even though I LOVE feminine makeup. Definitely went down the kibbe body type rabbit hole as well in a pretty negative way as well. I’ve really gotten a lot more secure in just doing what I want/like, but I still think it’s fun to play around with these categories and experiment with the different vibes your makeup can give off. (I am also commonly referred to as tall as a girl of 5’6)

It’s so interesting because dramatic essence, which is the most “masculine” in kitchener’s system, became a big part of what’s considered sexy/romantic for women in more recent times. It really goes to show that the way these categories were gendered was very subjective! I find thinking of it very neutrally as just shape, line, and colour helps me make more sense of it

The look turned out beautifully! I believe you have a romantic, natural, and classic essence. Together, these qualities create an ethereal vibe, even if you don't possess the essence. I mention this because I watched your ethereal makeup videos, including the grunge one and Arwen's video. The looks looked dramatic, but I feel they come across as somewhat separate from you. That’s why I think you may not fully embody the ethereal essence, at least not to a large extent. But obvi I'm not an expert so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Love this look. It’s so striking on you. I can wear a romantic look but with a more intense pink lip since I don’t wear reds. Also you definitely do have a tall energy. I feel short but I’m average height as well. And I always get carded. Maybe it’s being short is affiliated with younger ? Interesting.
