RAYA....I never know the lyrics! I'm like Louis. I listen to the melody and tune into it and completely forget the words. Tony Robbins taught me in one of his seminars, that as humans,we are dominant in either AUDITORY, VISUAL or KINESTHETIC energy. This means, that you are most likely auditory which means you listen to words more than others, and that Louis is more visual. When he hears music or hears ideas, he sees it visually. (most likely why he's an artist). My oldest son is very auditory, so I have had to learn to be very careful what words I use, because this is how he and I communicate best, but my youngest son is highly kinesthetic, which means, he loved being held and touched when he was younger and so we communicated this way most effectively! I remember a scary amount of songs, too! As a music major, I've just always caught onto song lyrics, music, sheet music, anything so quickly and once it suck, it was there forever. I could not listen to a song for a decade, go back, and start singing like it has been played on the radio endlessly for months. Lyrical sistas unite!

i always know all the words of the songs i listen to too and also without too much of an effort, its amazing i like it, ever since i was a little girl and started listening to music i could do this, my mom told me i also used to memorize my poems for school pretty easily plus all the other kids poems just in case they forgot what they have to say so i could help them lol. I love both lyrics and beats. My driving music is typically a selection of ~590 songs that I know (generally) the lyrics to on my phone, that way I can make my commute to and from campus karaoke time in my car. I like music for their beats and instruments for when I am doing digital painting and studying though.
