He needed to move those archers to the enemy right flank, guarded by the camels. Firing head on at heavily armored troops accomplishes little. The last resort camel attack should have been the first resort after using the archers.

I'm loving this series, Jon, it revitalized my love for RTW so much that I'm playing it right now. And on the subject of great games, I have one to recommend for you: Pillars of Eternity. It is a old-style RPG game made by Obsidian that has features from oldschool RPGs like Bauldur's Gate. What makes me think that you would do a great series of this game is because it is a storytelling type of game and since in the beggining of your CK2 series you said that the thing that made your series good was the stories they told, I think this game would blend in very well. Take a look, test it out and maybe do a video or two about the game to see how people would react to it. Just an idea from someone who has seen pretty much everything you have done.

Did nobody tell Jon during all these series that range units don't shoot at units that are engaged with friendly units on fire at will? It's automatic and serves the purpose of evading unnecessary/excessive friendly fire, so you have to manually target them lmao

I think a problem with the way Jon plays is that he keeps sallying forth on the siege, when a easy way to practically to win is to let them attack him on the siege, so that he can basically fight on the walls and play with the advantage he wants to play with, cause tactically in all those sally forth battles he always wants the enemy to come closer for the siege, but normally when you sally forth that means you attack and personally I would only sally forth with long range archers or Archer Cavalry because Missile Cav has an advantage, basically quick hit and run attacks and missile cav would work perfectly with how Jon plays.
