I recently discovered Aventura and Romeo Santos. I now be listening to bachata on a daily basis because I explored the genre. Spanish is really a beautiful language, wich makes the lyrics sound more emotional. I dont know why, but "mi corazon" just hits harder than "my love".

I remember when I came to live to USA in 2001 and seeing Aventura singing in the parks in Manhattan and thinking how these teenagers' liked to sing bachata ? cause back in Dominican republic only older guys used to sing that genre. then they became world wide known. Romeo is a legend he gives you a show on his concerts and keep people entertained the whole time plus he is so finee!

Oh my goodness, I just love Romeo and not just because he resembles my high school sweetheart. I remember listening to his music way back in 2003 when he had his first album at the beginning of Aventura when no one knew who the band was and the bachata genre was extremely underrated. The band had incredible growth over the years and became so big and popular but all remained so humble.
