I accidentally found the best deodorizer. I had a ton of Italian parsley growing so I cut some and put it in a vase on the counter and another in the fridge. We just moved into the house and the floors were just refinished so it smelled strong! After the parsley sat there for 24 hrs, no more chemical smells! Of course I didn’t use the parsley for eating after that but I thought you’d like to know there is a natural remedy for odors

I live abroad where the water quality isn’t great, so I use a shower filter religiously! I have different scented ones too for a spa like experience- eucalyptus is my fav!

Yes, me too! I think Romeo's more angular-featured pumpkins add interest and keep it from being too precious. They play off the fancier, more fluid carvings of MaCenna's pumpkins. It all looks terrific!

The second i saw these branches i thought of the diy my mum did… she hung a beautiful huge wiggly branch above our dining table, sometimes she hangs led lightbulbs up there or decorates it for eastern, halloween, Christmas… its such a cool idea!

MaCenna, A lot of people commented on your other channel regarding NOT putting your lovely oil painting in the bathroom. My husband is a picture framer and art appraiser and we have oil paintings in our bathrooms. He said oil paintings are varnished and it should be fine in there. So enjoy it because it is lovely and it brings you joy every time you go in there 😍

MaCenna, a product that will transform your old bathroom tile is this white grout sealer, it is durable and makes them look new, the grout lines are less noticeable, I have white tile floors and this works on floors that are walked on. Great product. You'll be amazed... love your channels.

I did the same and am finally warming up to it, but I'm not a fan of the curtain fabric with the grey walls. I LOVE the fabric, but think it needs more of a brown based taupe than a grey. I really loved the striped fabric with that wall color! But that's if I'm being super nit-picky and such a tiny thing!! But it's beautiful and the most important thing is that MaCenna and Romeo love it. And I do love it, too!!

I would put long white voile curtains across the whole bedroom wall to cover the doors and windows. Easy to just pull across for privacy, but would still let light through...😊🇬🇧

For odours, baking soda is great! You could have it in a jar with a candle in it and it’ll soak up everything whilst still being non toxic

It’s interesting what you said about matching paint colors. I have had the same experience lately! Something as simple as liking one paint color but wanting it in a different brand has turned out disastrous. I don’t remember having this issue even two years ago.

You can spray paint shower hdwe- Just a thought.☺️ I’ve done it before to save money on a restoration and it turned out surprisingly well. Sealing the hdwe & dry time was def key! I used two coats of Matte clear coat. Love the retique finishes! Looks so good!!!!🥰

I have found the smaller rooms take more effort and time. Maybe because each item is so visible that it has to be right! You did a wonderful transformation and thanks for introducing that produce used on the vanity!

I haven’t done this to a faucet handle, but I painted the frame on our shower enclosure inside and out with Rustoleum Oil Rubbed Bronze from their Metallic line of paint. Not spray paint, but an oil based quart found at Home Depot. I then brushed on a matte poly top coat. That stayed beautifully for the year and a half before we moved, so I can only assume it is still going strong. I don’t recall what other colors they have to offer, but I wouldn’t be afraid to try doing some research on painting a faucet, especially if you intend to renovate more in a year or two. You can DEFINITELY do the technique I mentioned on the silver on the glass enclosure. I didn’t even sand the metal or anything to prep it. I used the same oil rubbed bronze paint on outdated accent tiles that were about 5’ up the shower wall and went over them with the polycrylic and they stayed perfectly as well. The Rustoleum Metallics is a beautiful, rich, self leveling paint that adheres so well and leaves zero brush marks. If you don’t use this product for your faucet, do keep it in mind for future projects because it is amazing! I have also used it on all of our interior doorknobs in our current home and they have remained unscathed for 6 years now.
