It's so funny because I'm also an artist and I loved the sepia tones too. It really looked like a vintage Italian family dinner. I also loved using the tomatoe cans for holding the breadsticks. And the use of the tomatoes for the table decor. Brilliant!!!

You and Romeo look so happy to share your home with your family. That's really what it's about, having family and close friends enjoy your hard work. When you walk in someone's home you get a piece of who they are. My mom always made our home beautiful. She had 12 children and a tight budget but our home felt cozy. My adult children still say "our mom always made our house beautiful." It's not about what you spend it's all the love that goes into decorating. Glad you had fun. Beautiful party.💖

I live in Italy since 2014 and I can tell you… you nailed it! Some history here: in Italy (mainly in the southern regions) at the end of summer you collect all vegetables (tomato, zuchinni, eggplants…) and you make preserves. All the family helps and it becomes a party itself. Kind of this one! ❤❤❤

As a 47yo Gen X'er, that plastic tablecloth brought back memories, and for us, it was always used on top of whatever linen or paper tablecloth that was being used as decor. It protected the tablecloth and table from spills and was easier to wipe down after dinner instead of removing everything and resetting the table.

Perfect for babies and young children that way. No upset over stains in the tablecloth when they spill. Just wipe it up and keep smiling!

My family would use it as a daily topper to protect the table and then remove it during parties. We even kept paper recipes under the clear lining.

Tip for the table cloth: My mom always used plastic tablecloths growing up, but then she got a piece of acrylic cut to the size of the table and never went back. It’s seriously a game changer, and it super easy to clean, store, and it was lightweight!

If you’re going to be the baking queen, highly recommend a kitchen scale. It will increase your success rate dramatically-and then you can use your pretty things for scooping instead of measuring!!

This theme was the cutest! When you have your cut flower garden, order cinnamon basil and amaretto basil from Jonny seeds.. so easy to grow from seed. I have a 2 x 4 bed full of aromatic cinnamon basil..just know right when you cut them they will wilt.. but give them a day and they will perk back up. The table scape looks beautiful

The greenery needs to be low and wide so people can see each other across the table. However, the table scapes is gorgeous! I would have never thought of tomatoes but they look so beautiful spread down your table! You dream kitchen and all of your planning and hard work is just perfect for big family gatherings making memories together. That’s what I remember the most about growing up. The Aunts, Uncles, Grandma and all of the cousins together and joy from being together ❤️
