Back in the 60s and 70s we just used cinder blocks. Just put a metal pipe through the hole in the block. Half blocks used for dumbbells. Also buckets with water, rocks or even iron and or lead worked well. Easy to make, and they did the job

It's like what I've made at my 3rd elementary school with my mum, the different is I used wood bar instead plastic or iron bar, I've not used cover over the cement & youtube at it's day not as popular as now. Now I'm at my last year as college student. 💪

Got a creative idea kudos.....but When cement paste dry it will lose it's weight, make it less precise. Also you cannot put them down with force of own weight, they will brake.

Cool idea but for the cost of the concrete and waste metal iteams you could just buy a cast iron set with twice as much weight and significantly greater durability. Even buying 2 large watering can and filling them up would be cheaper. lol

@@Maxymus777 Так то оно годами лежит, хочешь тренируйся, не хочешь, так пусть лежит. Я 6 лет назад делал такие, вот сейчас опять начал их тягать. Правда уже посыпались знатно особенно маленькие по 3 кило. Главная ошибка на видео это втулка без каких либо доп зацепов. У меня кортонные от мотков чего то очень быстро по вылетали, металлические дольше держались от трубы. Но в идеале на металлические эту арматуру наваривать или гвозди\болты. Можно ещё жидким стеклом сверху покрыть, краска до одного места облазит, как и скотч по верх краски тупо отклеивается. В итоге дома только срач от таких блинов после каждой тренировки с ними. Лучше уж нормальные купить, хоть конечно они и стоят как рыло самолёта но там уж и внукам можно будет передать XD.
