Re: curls. A good layered haircut and they’ll spring right up again! If curly hair is the same length over all, the curl won’t have space to move and it’ll just fall flat. They’re still there!

I'm just so proud of you, Ro! My first meal after I quit dancing and decided I was done with my ED was a cheeseburger happy meal from McDonalds. 😂 Because I LOVED them so so much as a kid and never let myself have them (or really any fast food) after I was 10. We have to be nice to our little selves because it means we can be good to our big selves.

i've been wanting to do this for such a long time and i think im gonna take this video as a sign to finally give it a try! i feel like my ed is heavily rooted in wanting to stay a child but i've only recently realized how contradictory that is because my childhood self loved to eat!! she wasn't scared of weight gain or certain foods and if i truly want to get that person back and become who i was supposed to be if i never got sick i need to stop fearing those things as well!

Always so proud of you Ro, you inspire me in my recovery. I go abroad to Portugal on Sunday and it’s my first holiday since my ED and in recovery so I’m quite nervous. Does anyone have any advice as it’s an all exclusive hotel and I just want to have a good time🥺🤍
@YJ-rb4fr
@YJ-rb4fr 2 жыл бұрын
I went on holiday last year I’m sort of still in recovery but I had more orthorexia (bulimia for a few months but not full blown) rather than not eating at all so not sure how severe your ED is or at what point in your recovery you are but I basically would recommend to try to eat anything you want on holiday but like know your limits and what will make you overly uncomfortable but just try or push back negative thoughts until you get back to your hotel room (maybe go back straight after) with your family and have a good cry if you feel like it or try to calm yourself down with the help of your family. That way you can enjoy your holiday, be proud of yourself for pushing through and not have any regrets at the end for not trying certain new foods or foods you like and you can look back on the holiday in future! Hope that helps! Xx have a nice holiday and good luck

11 weeks into FULL ON recovery and I do have fleeting thoughts of giving up too. After 20 years of suffering, four inpatient stints, I'm so ready to do this, to do it right, to be consistent, to not give up. Not every day is perfect and it's easy to let disappointment get under your skin and start thinking about how much easier it would be not to do the work. So yeah, it is easy to lay down and die. But that's not what I signed up for. Getting stronger, getting healthier, noticing small changes in my body that tell me THIS IS WORTH IT. Keep going.

Seriously, omg! I was sooo crush before watching this video and when I started it just made me feel so much better, warm inside, a bit of a boost of hope, I felt more motivated again. I just want to cry because I thought I was just going to fall into pieces and feel sooo depressed but this really helped me sooo much..I can't even tell you...it hard to say exactly how I feel but thank you for saying lovely inspiring words...you did Incredible eating like your childhood self(veg version). I was very happy and so proud of you, still doing the haaard darn stuff and expressing how the fear is not stopping you anymore from getting little Ro back again. You have treated yourself well here. Ro was shinning, she was thriving, she was kicking butty!!!!! I loved it. I admire this of you...you do it anyways, even if it feels like it's killing you or it's crushing what you lived with for so long...it was what you new for a long time and change can be difficult...I know! All the food was lovely, it was beautiful and fun. I liked that you incorporated variety...simple things(exclude the cooking process) but the meals it self. I'm so glad you did this, keep doing it, keep treating true Ro with respect, with TLC...she deserves better. Love you loads Ro. Oh, I should and will do the same and have been, I can't just say it to you, I need to take my own word for it. Trust me, I understand the feeling when others say things like this but don't do it themself, when are just hanging on the side lines. Just watching. I will and have been pushing. Thank you for the support Ro. I feel like more people need to share and talking about that too. Yea but yes, love yah🖤🥊🕊️🥰🥺🆓💙💜🖤🐾🥣🍫🎥💪🌄💞

I always want to just start restricting again cause the feeling was so liberating and controlling and I can’t describe it. But I think of you. Has ro given up yet? No. No she hasn’t. I still love watching you enjoy food in every video I see. It is encouraging even for someone like me who has been eating "normal" for quite a few years now. I put that word in quotes because of course the amount of food the body needs is different for everyone! I can tell you from experience that even many years down the road there will be times where the intrusive thoughts will get to you and try to take you over again. Never let them! You are doing amazing. I love how happy you are in your recent videos ♡

Watching your vids in backwards order, amazing to see you go from struggling to open a bottle of mayo, to recommending where to buy commercial sized containers! It really does make a sandwich so much better! ❤️
