Comedy is often a case if Hit and Miss (take a look at the first few episodes of Monty Python; a lot of those early sketches sucked). And Will Ferrel is a good example of that. He can be great for 10 minutes then suck the next 5. But Ron Burgundy is a pure *genius* comedy character. Seeing him riffing with an improv Mozart like Colbert is comedy crystal meth.
