Lol when people who didnt watch football back then ask how was it fair to have Messi and Ronaldinho on same team i wish i could take them 20 years back in time. They didnt had just those two either, Eto was arguably best striker at that time, Deco was an elite midfielder, Giuly was beast of a wing, Iniesta and Xavi absolute legends, Puyol, Thuram and Marquez superb defenders. Pretty much every position had a star or superstar and best thing is they werent even the strongest team in Spain alone on paper. Real Madrit had arguably best goalkeeper in the world in Casillas, pair of stoppers were Cannavaro and Ramos who are both absolute legends on their position and won everything there is, Roberto Carlos was best left back in the world and record holder for most powerful shot in the world, midfield was composed of Zidane, Beckham, Robinho and Figo while in attack there was Ronaldo, Raul, Van Nisterloy or Morientes. Pretty much this entire team was made out of superstars on each position. To make it easier to understand for American imagine if you had basketball team with Lebron, Steph, Kevin Garnett, Wade and Dwight Howard all in their prime while other team would have CP3, Kobe, Durant, Duncan and Shaq all in their prime. Barca and Real werent only teams with that kind of line up, in Spain they were pretty dominant but on European stage you had more teams stacked with superstars, ManUnited had superstar on pretty much every position, Chelsea also wasnt far from it, Milan or Juve were absolutely stacked too and even 4th, 5th or 6th team in England, Italy or Germany had at least few stars and some superstars. It was absolutely insane era in football, golden times

Was he the one with more goals ever? No. Was he the one with more assists ever? No. Was he the one with the biggest and most durable carrer? No. Was he the most magical and entertaining player to watch ever? YES! Football today is kinda lame cause we dont have players like Dinho anymore, all we have now is players that have no personality with the ball, players that just run back and forth in same spot, players that are not allowed to show their flashy plays and that only keep passing the ball to the side or back to the keeper. Players that think like robots, play like robots, act like robots. Football today is like a industrial meal on a can.

World Cup is won by national teams not clubs. Messi and Ronaldinho played together at the start of Messi's career and that time he was Messi's mentor. Then in 2008 new manager came and requested to sell Ronaldinho because he had disciplinary problems and the coach was afraid he would spoil Messi.
