@Jonathan Kent This comment tells me you know absolutely nothing about Ronald Reagan's life prior to his public service life. Reagan went through some very rough years after his divorce from his first wife, Jane Wyman. Reagan did things that he wasn't proud of before he found and married Nancy. But...back then the country believed in the restoration and redemption of men and women. The problem with you is that you sit on your holier-than-thou sanctimonious perch looking down on Trump and Melania without giving him and her the benefit of repentance in their lives. Our nation has always been a nation of second chances and forgiveness. And people like you in the world is one of the major reasons why our country is so screwed up.
@marciadiehl5733
@marciadiehl5733 4 жыл бұрын
@Jonathan Kent Spoken like a true Christian hater. How tolerant of you? You know nothing about Jesus/God or the difference between Him and religion. I never turned my back of Jesus and I am the only person in this conversation (?) that actually WORKED on Reagan's 1980 campaign. So don't preach to me about Reagan. The difference between me and you is that you are so busy judging Trump's life and hating on the man that you aren't paying attention to the real fight that Reagan warned us all about and is now here....the fight against communism that he told us was just one generation away. And here we are...worrying about stupid crap instead of what is really important...saving our Republic. Go ahead...hate on the man... But when President Harris and her Antifa goons come to your front door and drag you out to a re-education camp or worse...think about how you didn't listen to Ronald Reagan's warning.
@cianbroderick4145
@cianbroderick4145 3 жыл бұрын
Marcia Diehl so we can’t judge trump blindly but you are free to make statements like that about Harris’ antifa goons? (Literal anti fascists, sort of like what Reagan was a riotous believer in). Remember when Reagan and his Hollywood goons wasted hours of time in a court because of some actors affiliation with communist thought? Big government doesn’t have to exist when Hollywood are doing all the heavy lifting lol. What did you even like about Reagan’s administration? Yes he was more open to world peace than most republicans (massively low bar there), but held onto unnecessary weapons. Complained throughout his administration about Carter failings when it came to the hostages in the Middle East and yet took him years and a great deal of back door sleazing to do it. Again, like almost all of those in the Republican Party, Reagan confused “common sense” and politeness for pragmatism

As husband and wife, they tried hard to love each other, helped and supported each other and made each other happy mostly. Even teeth and lips will disagree once a while and get along each other again quickly again. As the former President Reagan and the former 1st Lady Reagan, they supported each other to govern by our country America’s own established principles together always too. It’s a interesting interview and learning experience from it too. Criss Wallace was so young that time.

@@Alex-pn5sh Liberals hated Reagan as much as they hate Trump now. They just had more manners and kept their mouths shut...especially after Reagan's incredible landslide victory of 1984. Suddenly the liberals discovered that they were living in their own little bubble and the rest of the country was very satisfied with Reagan's policies and leadership. If Reagan were president today, the current media would treat him just as badly as they treat Trump. Because I remember vividly how they treated Reagan when he ran for re-election....and they were vicious to him.

@John Sylvyn We don't think the Conservatives will save us, we are Conservatives. The difference is we believe God will save us, and He has been doing that. We believe compared to the modern extremist Democrats who are borderline Communist, that Conservative, Republican presidents will uphold the constitution and provide more security than the modern Democrat candidates. For example, instead of abolishing or defunding the police, Republicans want to make sure that our police are taught and given what they need to protect us. Democrats could literally care less about law enforcement.

America needs these two now more than ever. Imperfect they were, as we all are, but they had a spirit about them. When you laid your head down at night, you had faith in your country’s abilities and its leadership. R.I.P. Mr. & Mrs. Reagan. ❤

Wow Chris Wallace used to be human? He isn't the worst out there currently but still suffers from late stage Trump derangement. What an amazing all American couple the Reagans were, I see a lot of President Reagan in President Trump, not mannerisms obviously but definitely love and best interest for this country.

@@TrumpFanNetwork2 yeah but so are Tucker Carlson & Hannity. They just play a different role. Their role is to shift the _Overton window._ Apologies in advance for projecting on you what I hear from so many conservatives: "Fox has gone downhill... but but but Tucker..." _No._ ALL of Fox News is fake news as much as CNN. Period. The sooner people wake up to this the better. I've been waiting for years, finally some small government types are starting to get it... but it may be too late.

Yes, I've been taught in the past, to look at one eye, I seem to remember, the left eye(but, not sure if that's correct, or that it matters), and it does help one focus better.

Everyone knows the former President Reagan and his wife the 1st Lady Nancy Reagan are always love, care and support each other in their entire life. However, I believe that leaving their own private life themselves and best wishes to them from our hearts will be more than enough. Too many questions will leave them less own privacy too. President Reagan’s and President Bush’s perfect family life spirit are worthy for us to learn. I guess unselfishness and honesty and loyalty by principles toward each may well help. They will always live in our hearts.

''Throwing plates and throwing names'' I wish I would have learned this 20 years ago. It's ok to disagree. It is never ok to throw plates and throw names. Not for a relationship to stay healthy. Every plate and every name are one nail in a relationship's coffin that can never be removed.
