This video arrived just in the right moment. I bought the tracker a while ago, but had not the time to really get into it. I want to make my first steps this weekend. So, this video makes it a lot easier for me. More tutorials are definitely welcome! 😀

For anyone who has a coder or Visual cognitive process, this is a no-brainier …. NOT everyone is going to get it … and that’s absolutely fine. Yes, I have an iPad Pro and a Korg synth + Circuit Tracks that could do a million things together but hardware algorithm -based way of making music appeals to my brain … the dopamine hits will just keep on coming, I feel. I was thinking of getting that GR-1 granular synth and a Circuit Rhythm for Sampling. The PolyEnd Tracker looks like I will get both needs met whilst using a system that sits best with my type of brain 🧠 I can’t imagine how it won’t speed up my production process 🔌 ⚡ I have seen a few of these reviews and this is ONE OF ONLY 3 that have given a comprehensive and concise walkthrough that helped confirm my intent to purchase. 👏🏽 EXCELLENT REVIEW ⭐ EXCELLENT 👌 KNOWLEDGE subscription confirmed ✔

Hi Ron, I don't know if this appeals to you BUT, How about a beginners guide for the freshly released Polyend Tracker Mini. I am trying to follow this guide but keep getting confused with looking for the mini equivalent and its making it hard work, and I am sure that with your experience and knowledge you could help me to understand my new machine. Trackers are a mystery to me(that's part of the appeal) but of course I have bought the one Polyend product that doesn't have a proper tutorial, hence this request!😎

puzzled that it will let you cursor over the filled white boxes representing each track of a pattern in the song view, but won't let you mute/unmute them on a step of a song. all I've managed to do from this screen is (permanently) delete a track from a pattern while editing a song. also, a 'number of repeats' column would be useful, save you scrolling up & down so much when a song has a lot of steps the same. cool box, though. I love the per-step instrument thing in trackers, having been frustrated in the past by sequencers running out of tracks because several are playing very few events but need to run independently.

@GrootsieTheDog2 жыл бұрын
Would be nice if in song mode, you could just repeat the same pattern then choose which tracks are muted per slot - seems like that would be a logical thing to do.
@RonCavagnaro2 жыл бұрын
Hmm easy enough to just copy the pattern down and cut out the tracks you want
@shayneoneill15062 жыл бұрын
Yeah Rons right. The old way with the original fasttracker/digitracker/etc was you'd make copies and just slice out (or add in, more often than not) the stuff you want in or out. Its a fairly productive workflow when you get the hang of it. I agree though that would be a nice way to do things (particularly if you wanted to try and use this stuff live, although that was never really the usecase of trackers)

What do you prefer more deluge or pollyend? I’ve got the deluge and love it wondering if you would recommend getting a pollyend as well ;)
@RonCavagnaro3 жыл бұрын
Totally deluge by far! But if you're into the tracker interface go for it. I started off music with a tracker so I do like it. Btw tracker total sample length limit is 3 minutes. Deluge has a lot more capability. I find when I use tracker the results are different.

@RonCavagnaro2 жыл бұрын
Well don't get one :) tracker interfaces are the first way I ever made music back in 1993. They have at least for me different results than other sequencers and have pros and cons with it's workflow. So if this looks not like a good workflow just use other stuff :)
