@yodawg454 ай бұрын
I agree it didn't age well but you cut that quote short.
@TheAceInfinity4 ай бұрын
@@yodawg45 I think what she was trying to say with "nobody has the right to beat you" was the mental aspect of it all however, rather than having external respect for her opponents; which ultimately probably solidified her arrogance and diminished her respect for any of her opponents. I'm not aiming to bash on her here though, this is just my opinion. I see many fighters get hot-headed when they get to the top and start believing they're truly something special compared to the rest, but it never lasts forever. Even if the "no respect" aspect of her statement aligns with an opponent having "no right to beat you", that's no excuse for not acknowledging another fighter and not touching gloves in the ring. She demonstrated that she didn't respect anyone outside of the cage on many occasions in my view, so I'm not sure where her definition of "respect" truly lies other than potentially *respecting* the fact that they might beat her; which she never handled really well anyways by leaving the ring with her head down and never being the first one to pay her respects to the fighter that beat her... I think that was the arrogance that she had before she was humbled, and maybe in some part for the marketing. I'm just confused on what she really means by "respect" as there's a stark difference between her and truly respectful fighters like GSP or Volkanovski who've both demonstrated respect regardless of the circumstance for all of his opponents. To me this sounds like something she's regurgitating based on the acceptable views of what fighting is about even though she never lived by it. I suspect if she ever started fighting again, that she would be more prone to pay respect to her opponents after her past experiences now though. From everything the world has seen though, her definition of "respect" doesn't align with "sportsmanship" that's for sure. She cared a lot about what her fans thought of her though which is why she got depressed after the last couple of losses, so it's even harder to discern how much of that was virtue signaling as well. One can only speculate. Typically if someone has a "but" in their sentences it means they have a reason to dispute what they've just said which only makes it disingenuous. (i.e. "You're great, but...")

If she would've listened to her mother, and stayed with her. She wouldn't have lost the belt to Holm.

Ronda really could’ve been a world beater if she had surrounded herself by the right people. Edmond is the equivalent of Josh Fabia. He convinced her she was a striker when she was an excellent grappler.

Right kinda sad too. Edmund is a piece of crap.

Ronda about Ronda "as a coach there's only so much we can do." Ronda about Misha " it's all her fault she's the coach it's her responsibility." 🤦🏼♂️😂🤡

Rhonda is in one of my favorite "guilty pleasure" films. Mile 22. She was really good in it I thought, all things considered. I doubt anyone would think it was an unexperienced actor unless they already knew her from the UFC. Then again, she does have the WWE experience acting so that helps I bet.

So glad Ronda got humbled in the biggest way possible so much that she retired and never fought again getting what she deserved! Meanwhile Miesha has had a great career including get the belt and now even return and look really good winning her last fight in a big way, I've always been a fan of Miesha and how she carries herself and hated Ronda for those same reasons!

it's amazing how Ronda trusted this ''coach'' who clearly is worthless and knows nothing about the sport. If he had proper coaching staff, she might really be the best of the best but hey, life is life

Fighters chose coaches not the other way round, intelligent fighters = good coaches, know nothing stupid, backwards fighters choose like minded coaches

@@jblechan There is no way to know what role he even had. Her mom taught her to be great at judo not her coach.
@arclight5455Ай бұрын
She was the furthest thing from the Ultimate FIghter. She was the Supreme MMA One Trick Pony. If her opponent evades the grapple, prevents the arm bar, all she has left is her complete lack of stand up. Holm vs Rousey
@DanRaidersWarriorsSharksGiants3 күн бұрын
Rhonda wanted to box with Holly and Amanda on purpose and did not care about going for the arm bar.

I have meet her a few times and just want to tell you guys. She is actually shy and very quiet not to mention sweet as hell! More of a lone wolf keep to her self kinda a woman. Get her in any judo or MMA contest and she will fight till the death to win. She is so hot and sweet and now a mom! SO congrats RR God Bless!!
