Hi, you posted a video asking how we find your BABYMETAL reactions and what to do to get more views on other type of content but it's already gone. So I answer you here: Good question! First of all: I'm not a reactor or a YT expert, only a music lover and a fan. Easy: because BABYMETAL fans are very passionate and dedicated. Personally, I search for BABYMETAL content in general and reactions in particular. Nothing too special, tbh. Just because I like to watch reactions, comment and share my experience and knowledge. I discovered them through reaction channels and it's important for me to return them what I got. I'm sure there are other fandoms like this (not sure if this passionate, tho). Some channels are specialized in Japanese rock/metal music, for example. Just an advice: don't try to mix fandoms (it doesn't work well). You can react to other bands separately and, with time, forge your own community (so to speak) with the people who share your musical taste in general or like your idiosyncrasy. It's more about you than what you actually react to. I hope this helps in any way. 😊

Thanks so much @@road-runner, yeah I deleted the other video because I didnt want to waste anyone's time. One of my Discord folks left me a message and let me know that every time I make a video they share it to their Babymetal Discord and it has a fan base over 8000 members. So between that and your technique for searching for videos that is the reason I am getting that viewership. It makes the most sense and I am so thankful that someone is sharing my videos so frequently. So I wanted to get it deleted before more of the fan base saw it. Your support is incredible and whoever is sharing my work are all angels in my book.

Welcome back to the Foxhole.🦊🤘🔥 Thanks for coming back with this suggestion. As you can see this is not the usual happy BM song. One of the many songs composed by YuppeMetal (aka Yuyoyuppe), he's also behind "Karate", Kagerou, the arrangements of Megitsune, Headbanger!! Night Of The 15 Mix (only the mix) and more new songs from latest album like Monochrome and Believing. _"Akumu No Rondo"_ (or Rondo Of Nightmare) combines not only heaviness with dark waltz and dope time signatures changes but also delicate and fragile elegance that makes you want to grab your inception kit and go to rescue this 16 yo queen from this nightmare. Temporarily title song was "Kill The Alice" so it is like Alice but instead of Wonderland she's trapped in a nightmare trying to escape and avoid some evil entity. Rondo is a musical form in which you can hear a repetitive pattern, an example of this could be the song "Blue Rondo a la Turk". The Kami Band is doing their second magnificent intro of the night with their own set called "Mischiefs Of Metal Gods". They become regular after this special live at Budokan 2014 and leaving baby-bones, from early shows, behind, shout-out to them thou. You already know some of them from your previous reaction, such Takayoshi Ohmura on guitars, BOH on bass and Hideki Aoyama on drums, this time Leda Cygnus is the first guitar. This was the day (night) after the first live premiere of this song and she's dancing and performing like she already did a dozen times before, like a pro. Also she's showing some fierceness here dancing on that high dangerous mini stage with no wire and that's how she keeps winning everyone's heart. But not everything was perfect here despite their impeccable performance and sound, and the day before the girls face that dangerous challenge on the stage, taking their own revenge after coming back in 2021 to celebrate their 10 years and leaving those ghosts behind, fortunately. Like i said, YuppeMetal is the one behind this song and he took inspiration from "Protest The Hero - Bloodmeat" song, of course i recommend you to hear that blaster song. Thanks for sharing this wonderful SuMetal solo and my favorite along with "Akatsuki" (live at Budokan 2014 is another great choice) The other solos are great too and those are: - No Rain No Rainbow live at Legend S 2017, heavily blocked thou. - Amore live at Wembley Arena 2016. And of course the rest of the girls under "Black Babymetal" are enjoyable too, they're taking a break here while SuMetal is performing to come back later, so don't miss out on their other 4 songs too such: - "Onedari Daisakusen" live at Legend 1997, Gans Tomas got that clip safe to react. - "Song 4" or "4 No Uta" live at Budokan 2014. - "GJ!" live at Wembley Arena 2016 - "Sis Anger" live at Tokyo Dome 2016". If you wanna keep diving into more EDM style i already left the suggestions but this type of gems makes BM even more amazing to enjoy the variety on their repertory. See you next time.🦊🤘🔥

⚡ / 🔥 😱 🔥 That was a sixteen year old Su. : ) She premiered the song the night before, at Budokan Red Night. Rondo is easily in my top ten BABYMETAL songs. Su performed three solos that night. She did 'No Rain, No Rainbow', followed by 'Akatsuki' earlier in the set. Yui and Moa (as Black BABYMETAL) did two songs without Su ('4 no Uta' and 'Onedari Daisakusen'), and they performed a bunch of songs together. That Black Night Budokan concert from March 2014 is still one of my favorite BABYMETAL concerts. Not only is Su brave enough to sing and dance on a tiny elevated platform in the dark, but she is also fearless enough to follow those Kami Band solos.

This song and live performance were played in 2014, I didn't know anything about BM at that time, so I was not there of course. I don't know what I was doing at this time, I think it was a time when my life wasn't going so well, I don't know... As you probably already know, BABYMETAL refers to the front three girls. Kami Band is a backing band exclusively for live performances of BM. Of course, this is a big part of the team BM's charms. You can enjoy it in various ways. Almost all Japanese people are skinny. But I'm the fat of them, ha. About the drummer, Hideki Aoyama, his father is Jun Aoyama. He was also an important drummer in the Japanese music world. I was a fan of his play in the some albums when he played in the legendary fusion band PRISM before he moved to the Japanese pop scene. So when I found out Hideki was his son after I knew BM and Kami Band, I was very moved. But it seems Hideki wanted to play in a different musical field from his father, so he seems to play rock / metal. By the way, it seems that Jun was fat in his later years. That seemed to have been the reason, but to me, I find it smiling somewhat...
It's "Budo kan" not "Boko dan"😂😂😂😂😂😂 I've been to over 25 Babymetal concerts since 2014. The only concerts on video that I can say "I was there" are Tokyo Dome 2016 and The Forum in LA 2019.

Great & Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。This is one of the songs that I am longing for the revival by New BABYMETAL. "Rondo" is a musical form with a recurring leading theme. I can't tell how many times I have viewed this video. It is literally a rondo of happy dream for me. Kamis' (=Gods') super solos were excellent enough as a main event in the show, but once the 16-year-old Queen (as of 2014) emerged from the underground, she colored everything differently with her penetrating voice then turned Kami Band's plays into a ritual to summon her.
@crimson011911 ай бұрын
Kamiband : We're gonna blow your minds with our awesome solos! Sumetal : Hold my matcha latte.... Love watching the drummer Hideki in this, when the camera pan to him in the beginning, he looks like he's just casually drumming and not responsible for the machine like pounding in the background with the double kicks. Most singers might get intimidated having to follow the spectacular performance by the Kamiband, but 16yr old Su just gets up there, and shows you why Babymetal was built around her. 🤘🦊🤘
@road-runner11 ай бұрын
Great reaction, thanks! The instrumental intro is called "Mischiefs of the Metal Gods". And it's great to give every Kami Band member their turn to shine... just to summon Su-metal who finally emerges from the depths ... well, at least from the bottom of the stage. 😁 "Rondo of Nightmare" is probably their darkest song lyrically. It's about Su being trapped into an endless nightmare, without any chance to escape, where she's chased by a dark entity as she tries to run away and hide. Finally, she asks the entity to reveal its real nature before giving up. This was just the second time they performed it live (the first one was just the previous night at the same venue) and Su-metal, being 16 at the time, was standing by herself on a relatively small and elevated platform, without any safety and probably not being able so see a thing due to the spotlight. This is so freaking metal! Unfortunately, I wasn't at that concert. if only... It took me another 5 years to discover them since this performance took place in March 2014. But watching this full concert (Live at Budokan Black Night Legend Doomsday - Shokan no gi - ) was what made me a die-hard fan. And specially because of Su-metal's solos (like this one). Until next time! 🤘🦊

The rondo is a musical form that originated in the baroque period and contains a principal theme which alternates with one or more contrasting themes. Genesis "Abacab" is one that comes to mind. In this case, the lyrics may suggest a recurring nightmare. I also LOVE the 3 against the 4 time signature. They use that in other songs as well. The Kami Band are dressed as Japanese spirits. Budokan = Boo' -doe-khan. Pardon me while I "pause" for your reaction😆 I don't mean that as a dis toward you.

@@TeedentoddoTV Anotger thing to note that will impress you even more when you react to this song (tales of destiny), is that Su's earpiece wasn't working properly for this sing for some reason, so she couldnt use the cues that are normally given to her through her ie.'s but instead had to perform the entire song through feeling it out. The quiet verse here is one of the rare instances of lipsync by Su-. And not a filter. That bit of studio vocal was done with a nasal resonance mic technique. We know this because Su- talked about it in an interview. What I don't know for sure is whether it was attempted live but over-dubbed for the Blu-ray or planned. I say this because for the last second of the verse, Su- has already pulled the mic out of position in setting up to come back in live with that heavy metal waltz of a chorus. Su- has always had excellent mic discipline from a very early age. But not while lipsyncing.😅 Watch Megitsune official MV for just one set of examples.
@Ganimal8311 ай бұрын
I feel Su may be doing this on purpose. We see the same for the lip-sync'ed scream for Iine! and Doki Doki Morning. I think she's purposely saying, "Hey, this isn't me". I always liked that they didn't hide it when they were lip-syncing from time to time. The only instance I ever saw on video of Su trying to hide it but messing up was a show in Moscow (during Headbanger), apparently, she was super sick but it was one of the last shows of touring that year in the middle of the Russian winter. 🤘🦊🤘🦊

That is not a filter, she tucks her head down the compress her vocal cords and sings into the side of the mic to give it that old timey radio sound. You had it backwards; she has to tilt her head to get that effect. Her training level is almost beyond or beyond opera singers.

As much as I love Babymetal, Su-metal, and this very performance (I really do!), I still have to point out to people to be not so naive. This part (and *only* this part, mind you) is not live, it's on a track. Just compare this clip with the recording from the Red Night performance the night before, where they did the same song, and Su had the microphone in a completely different place, **and it sounds the same**. Q.e.d. I'm pretty sure it can be done live, in theory, and the Dicodec guy proved it, but my guess is it's too difficult to get the volume and the sound just right, so they tracked this, just like they did (and continue to do, even 10 years later?) with the 'Sakura Sakura' part during the Megitsune breakdown.

The song is about being chased by monsters in her dream. She resists them, and in the fails and falls into darkness. The disconnection between her and the music is intentional and reflects the discordance in the themes of the song. And she does an excellent job singing an independent melody over the musicians. If you look closely when she has the filter on, she has the mic at an angle and pressed against the bottom of her nose. She is using every trick in the book to support that section. A lot will say it's a recording, but I saw them sing this once, and they didn't take the filter off and she went back into the verse with the filter on for a couple seconds.

The song explores the depths of despair, the longing for connection, and the desolate journey into darkness. You have to understand the lyrics first. the story which often appears in anime stories

Nice reaction. The Kamiband really getting to show off. And we're here for it. And then And then Su rises from the center of the stage. To sing a truly dark song. These are most likely the darkest lyrics Babymetal has done. This song really is a about a nightmare. Being chase through the dark. All you see are the claws and fangs flash in the moonlight. You try to hide but it catches you. Just at the end you get the courage to ask it to reveal itself. Then you can fall into the dark. And like in real life you wake up suddenly. Which is why the song ends that way and because it's a recurring nightmare. You know they say if you die in your sleep you die for real. I always hoped none of them actually had this dream. That's some scary stuff right there. EDM you say. Check out Uki Uki Midnight from their early days. Enjoy the journey through the Foxhole and into the Babymetal galaxy of music.

Drumming isn’t that much about power and strength but more about endurance, stamina, and precision. A lot of drummers are thin and lean, with a few exceptions, like Anthony Barone (the current western Kami band drummer). Good drummers are restricting their movements strictly to the minimum to conserve stamina and be bale to play 90 minute sets, especially in the metal scene. But yeah, Hideki is a beast when it comes to the double bass pedals. 🤘🔥🦊
