I think everyone should just wait a solid month to put any real money into the game/buid. We’ve seen too many times before with things like acceleration or speed with ball that we don’t need to put points on those attributes to make the most of a build. Not even mention the nerfing buffing of attributes or animation that happen later on. We should all jjst wait till 2k labs and tutes can test these things Out before $100 is dropped on a single build

I've passed like shit with a 95 pass acc. It's doesn't matter a lot of times. I've missed blocks with a 99, meeting players with low lay ups. But yes, you will have a lower chance at making a successful pass with a lower ACC. It just doesn't define your ability entirely.

I never upgraded passing for wat ? I play center once I get the rebound either I double tap or run the floor I always run a 7’1 with good speed so I can easily be a triple double machine just by having high Iq lots of 2k players don’t have that

@@2rawww4tvkd I average a triple double bruh, has nothing to do with high pass. I have a 77 pass build I avg a triple double with . Doesn’t mean it’s a good passer . Like you said it’s IQ. But making a 92 pass center I 100% feel the difference. It’s not about the passes it’s about the gold needle threader getting thru consistently and throwing zips consistently. Nothing worse than knowing your teammate is gonna dex or cut back door and the pass is slow as shit. My point is if everyone had good passing people wouldn’t complain about these shit animations most the tome

Simple fix contested shots should not go in. If I play good defense the shot should not fall. I don’t care that people hit contested shots in real life it’s a video game. It’s supposed to be a balance of real life aspects while being balanced on all levels especially in a competitive mode. If the person gets open and hits well then he cooked me. It’s the shooting hitting 90% contested that made them shits broken.

Yeah that and the defensive sliding are my TWO biggest concerns, Guarding players like Tatum/ Mitchell/ Booker/ Paul George basically all the pro play players on 24 was so fuckin stressful because of the broken contest and canned animations inside the paint, not to mention I have a Paul George build and my perimeter defense is a 92 and I have gold Challenger and Pick dodger yet I still got sucked into screens with SFs and SGs 🤦🏾‍♂️

@@KDthegoattvwhat happens against other users I have no problem with because that is the strength of your build but in Mycareer against the CPU I should be rewarded for forcing a ball pickup with 3 secs on the shot clock but instead it’s a canned animation into a layup when I’ve already had my hands fully extended and I’m 6’9 while the person with the ball is 6’2

The sad truth is that these devices are always going to evolve the same way that 2K is evolving into a certain degree. It’s not really on 2K to keep having to figure out ways to stop the cheaters if I was 2K I would just bring the problem up with Sony let them know and if Sony decides to make updates or changes they can, but I’m with youcertain degree they need to just let it go

And this is where 2k makes there money is in the first quarter. People making builds trying to find the sweet spot. Around November is when they drop off the map. It’s happened the last 2 years. I caution everyone to not buy the game until people start finding the sweet spot or else you will be building 3 builds. That’s almost 300 dollars.

The early builds from community day are trash. Most of them ignore agility as though it doesn't matter, then when they get out there and play they'll whinge about defense being broken because everyone runs around them. Doesn't matter what build I make, I'm maxing out the agility. I still don't get the steal fascination either, a lot of the builds will have 90+ steal but like 80 or under on perimeter D... or it will be an interior C and they still have to max out the steals, but not their block rating. I'd much rather max out the perimeter D and not touch steals, all those attributes can go elsewhere. I make some beastly builds every year by just ignoring the steals attribute. I still pick up an average amount of steals when compared to everyone on my friends list. So IMO steals is the most over rated attribute in the game. Also, whenever the steals attribute shows some worth and starts working...... Next minute Mike Wang will make all those attribute points completely useless after playing with his sliders.

With everyone been able to put a high steal . Surely high passing be required Also all this small builds be suffering when a 6'8 shoots on their face. I'm going 6'3 With good 3s high ball handle etc. I feel like without the dunk meter its not point having such a high dunking so I probably go balance on that and most likley small interior And half decent perimeter and steal . I'm not to worried about having high stats on that I prefer speed with ball

lol. “Eventually dying out” there are PC users who cheat in thier favorite games, big ones are Rust and Tarkov. Both survival, pvp style game. Some people spend $500+ a month on cheats….. some even more. Some folks have to buy, devices like DMA card which can cost $400+. Cost is nothing. A lot of video game players only have 1 hobby and that’s playing video games. You will never be able to stop cheaters. The only game I know that ever put up a good fight was Rocket League, but even now. There are Rocket League cheaters now.

COD has a terrible anti-cheat. It works but until you ban the famous cheaters nothing will take effect. It's shame because my shooting skill now is questioned when I hit a certain amount and to prove I'm not cheating I have to go to facecam. All because folks cheat. It's such a lazy mentality but 2k would rather let a person cheat because they will still spend that 100 or so on a build than build a cheat team lose money and lose that customer. There are only 2 emperically ptovable methods to prevent shotbots. 1 is ideal amd the 2nd, although I'll mention, is not acceptible due to restrictive gameplay: 1- playstation develops software which prevents a controler from funtioning via bluetooth unless it's an offical sony controler, where this feature can be enable or disabled at will, but required as enabled to play 2k. There are also variants to this method but to be relarively sussinct, ill leave that as is 2- Not n acceptable option. As a matter of fact, it should never happen as it would restrict gameplay, but the sad reality as that aside from the 1st option i mentioned or its associated conceptual variables...the 2nd dooky-ass option is to male everything real player percentage... In other words... 2k and sony need to explore the 1st option, and this is past due as the bs has been goin on for too many years.
