First of all he worked out for 45 minutes, 4 days per week which comes out to a total of 180 minutes/3 hours per week. He did do 1-2 warmup sets before most exercises, of course. He didn't just jump straight in, but when he did the working set it was all out, no bullshit, give it all you've got! And yes it most certainly does work. In fact, I personally didn't really start growing until I started doing his Blood and Guts workout almost exactly to the T. If I do just one more working set, my performance on the whole workout suffers. I get that people are different, with different muscle fibers etc. But to me, this man cracked the code. I believe that this is the way to train.

Phil Heath is definitely on the same level as the guys from the 90s and 2000s. Phil Heath probably beats most of those guys except Coleman, Yates, and Cutler. As of right now, we have tons of new guys coming out of nowhere and they're definitely only going to get better

@@blueicydasani4543 I agree about Phil Heath but not about other modern bodybuilders. Early Phil Heath is the exception after Jay Cutler who in my opinion was the last true bodybuilder. @@markherring3513 deadlift: 3 sets first set go for 5-6 reps, last set it's ok to be at 2-4 rep range. As long as your giving a good intensity, use same weight as first set. Rest 4-5 minutes between sets. All this goes for the other back exercises as well. Bent over row, get leaned over, not upright but not with back curled over, stick butt out to help get parallel. 7-8 reps first set. Now you have the choice of t-bar rows or use some type of lat pull down machine. Once more advanced add another machine in. I also do my traps on back day. Was this a test of my knowledge or cred.?

You'd have to see them go head2head in their primes. Ronnie's stage weight eventually got a bit heavier but I don't think he was quite as grainy beyond the 260s. Ronnie had some body parts that were better, but so did Dorian. Like I said both their best showings head2head on the same stage from judges seats.

The reason these two are the most dominant ever is even when they were off, they were still better than everyone else. Dorian’s posing and density mixed with his graininess are second to none. Ronnie with the great separation and sheer mass just catapulted him to first every year. Mind you, neither deserved EVERY Mr Olympia they won, but they were still the cream of the crop.

They didn’t, but even when both were off their backs were still better than their opponents? Ronnie’s mass and Dorian’s conditionings were still top of the top. I admit, it’s contradicting. But that’s how I see it.

If you really look at Colemans back double bi he always had a bit of a symmetry issue, the left side was smaller then the right. In fact this is likely what cost him from getting 9 as the issue got progressively worst and the year he lost was even more noticeable. Coleman at his best likely nudges out Yates at his best overall. But I still think the back itself Yates nudges out Coleman. Yates back was more symmetrical, conditioned, detailed, separated while holding his own mass wise. The overall back poses Coleman may have a slight advantage on from better arms and gluts though Yates owns in the calves. Yates back was so dominant that I would say most of his Olympia wins were from that alone where Coleman won more overall with the back being the knockout punch.
