Very fitting video for a transplanted Canadian legend. This is a story movies are made from. And mark my words there will be one! RIP Ronnie. The Hawk has soared.

Saw the Hawk when he was recording his short lived "Honky Tonk" show at CtV's studios, in the early 80's, gracious man to the fans who came out to cheer him on. My favourite quote from the hawk, which I use whenever I can. "90% of my money I spent on wine women and song, the other 10% I wasted" Cheers Ronnie!

What a great tune, and no wonder, looking at the players involved. But Ronnie's voice sounds great, as good as ever. This release should have received a lot more airplay, that's the problem with the music business, it no longer serves us up the best, but just the best financed.

Ronnie's always good to hear. The late Levon Helm's was always welcome on the kit, but drummer, Michael Turnpenny, was my favourite back in the days of Ronnie and the Corvairs.
