I like this Eric Blair guy...it's so rare to see a competent interviewer nowadays...he's a breath of fresh air.

I often think about how their music would have changed to accompany his voice. It would have been killer!

Everybody says "Dio means God." But, could it instead be that, "God means Dio"?

What about part 2?
@jimmycampbell785 жыл бұрын
The order of these is mixed up. Ronnie’s 1980-81 period in Black Sabbath working on Heaven and Hell was added as Part 2. It jumps ahead. Chronologically Part 1 should go to Part 3.

Great stuff 🌟 👍 Ronnie is pretty fidgety in this clip, moving from cheek to forehead to shirt buttons...

@Lubu1324 Yeah he is and he knows a lot about Dio's career which is awesome. Better than someone saying "Do you have any songs other than Rainbow in the Dark?"

RJD must have had alot of time to burn for this interview..almost an hour? Wow. As busy as he is 10 minutes would be premium.

Technically, it was still the same band it had been since 1957, undergoing several name changed and lineup changed, but they added some new players and called themselves The Electric Elves at first (formed in late 1967 when Ronnie was 25) and shortened their name to The Elves in mid-1969 and then finally settled on Elf in 1970 and released their first album in 1972.
