Today's Music is Trash compared to songs of the 1950s-90s (all genres). Singers back then could hold a note & go Acapella at a Moments notice. Everyone's "hidden talent" today is Auto Tune💔 I was born in 1980 so I've witnessed the Unfortunate Decline in Creativity in the last 20 years. Some Artists today don't have the Talent or Ambition to sing in the Shower, much less in a Bad Commercial. Today...Hearing what Society refers to as Music is comical. (Sorry if I've offended anyone's taste in Music, this is just my opinion, whether we agree or not) Many blessings to Ronnie Milsap & anyone reading this🙏

Question for you guys from a 43 year-old father of three: is the phrase "Simpler, but not easier" an accurate way to describe this time? I can remember the nostalgia for the 50s and 60s from when I was a kid back in the 80s. I never thought I'd feel nostalgic for the "country-politan" era but here I am. Take care.
@Aereaux3 жыл бұрын
@@leavnsmallville78 Simpler? We did not live in a digital world. Dial phones or phones where you had to have an operator place the call. Party lines so you had to wait your turn. Radios with tubes and portable radios were really big. Music you could understand. Great cars. The 57 Chevy is the all-time classic. You rode your bikes and walked to school. Played outdoors in the street until it got dark. Respected you parents, the police and just about everyone else. But not easier? We lived under the constant threat of a nuclear war. At least that is what they told us. Some people dug fallout shelters in the back yard. Russia was the belligerent neighbor that no one wanted to be associated with. China was just starting to flex its mussels. We lived through the war in Korea and the start of the civil rights movement. Would I go back. Yes and no. I enjoy most of today's conveniences. Like typing in KZbin. But I would like to live in a world where there was less us versus them in our everyday life.
