I lost my wife in January of 2023. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor in November and passed away in January. This song brings tears to my eyes. Her memory is always there. I miss her so bad. I’ve had to get on with my life but she is always in my heart and thoughts. I miss you baby

It’s a travesty that real country music like this is put on the back burner of country radio these days for the noise pollution so called country coming out of trashville today.

Country used to be real country until the 1990s, it went downhill from there. Ots not country today. Crying shame

There was some good 1990s & early 2000s Country Music. YES; most wasn't good, but there was a reasonable number of good ones. Some examples are; "Whiskey Lullaby", "Concrete Angel", "Life's a Dance", "Stronger Than I Am", "Strawberry Wine", and many others. I think the rapid decline started around 2006, though still a few gems amongst the bad. HOWEVER, the number of Modern Gems is maybe around 1% unfortunately. At least some good oldie Country Musicians still survive such as; Dolly Parton & George Strait.
