Good thing your in Missouri , because here in Wa you would of needed a permit before you could cut trees down . And then probably an arborist to determine if any damage was done to the tree the skid steer bumped into. Then OSHA would of sent you a warning letter for having someone operating a chainsaw without a face shield.

You wouldn't think a a small machine would be THAT HEAVY, but it was a heavy pice of equipment. Nothing the rotator couldn't handle, but she had to grunt a bit on this one. Due to where it was, the angles and everything, but you made a successful recovery thats what matters & everumyone goes home safe at the end of the day.

@Ron Pratt. --- near the beginning of the video the expression you are looking for is **arch** nemesis. The prefix arch-/archi- means "primary," so someone's archenemy is their principal or main enemy. Nemesis, on the other hand, has multiple definitions, including "archenemy," "diametrically opposite" ("polar opposite"), and several other mythological or literary meanings.
@RonPratt4 жыл бұрын
I explained it prior and in other videos, that I am simply making a play on words. "Arc" nemesis that I often refer to is referring to the electric wires that I always seems to be working around. I understand the difference between arch and arc. I do appreciate your comments though. Thank you for watching and God bless.

Lol this is a very common thing to hear from customers. They usually dont think about us showing up in a million dollar truck. A lot of them also dont understand that we wont put our trucks in a situation where we could lose the truck. There isnt a job in the world worth losing a wrecker over. I have gambled the truck a few times over the years but never a situation where I wont have full control of the truck ie parking on loose ground. Ive picked weight a little over my safe limit but I only needed to lift it inches off the ground and hold it. Ive also had a couple jobs where ive had to tell the customer that its my truck and my career on the line and if they wanted me to complete the job it would cost them a second truck or I could disassemble and head home.
@RonPratt4 жыл бұрын
@@xxkillerkane420xx8 Yes, most customers don't think in the same way we have to. On this job, for example, I knew that it would be floating my front end with the carriage rolled back, the boom at full extension, and the boom elevation flat, but I would rather risk floating the front end than rolling the truck down the same embankment. We have to take calculated risks. That's just part of the job. Glad you understand. Thanks for watching and God bless.
@xxkillerkane420xx84 жыл бұрын
@@larrykeenan598 73000 plus the skid steer in lift plus when the machine is hung up by branches or concrete slabs or even just trying to drag it a little, the weight adds up very quick and being that far out behind the truck you really have to watch weights.
