First, I want to say that today, 7/24, is my son Ethan's birthday, so I wanted to release a video of us working together. He did an awesome job and did exactly what I asked him to do. He is still in high school and works with us at the shop when he can to try to learn the family business. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY!!!! For all who are making commentary about my son's hat, please do not make political assumptions or shaming remarks. The hat says, "MAKE FISHING GREAT AGAIN." Fishing is one of mine and Ethan's favorite hobbies together. This channel does not push politics, specific religions or faiths and it certainly has never shamed anyone regarding their unique opinions, gifts, flaws or talents. With all the discontent, violence and hate in our world, we won't permit that to enter this channel. Ethan DOES want to make fishing great again!!!!! Now on to some of the common questions and concerns. I can't go into great detail for many reasons, but NO, there was nobody inside the RV when we picked it up. The police department had been contacted and did their investigation prior to our arrival. Since I was not present I do not know what that investigation entailed. The appropriate legal paperwork was obtained to remove the vehicle from private property prior to our arrival. The appropriate amount of time between notifying the police department of their (WalMart) intention to have the RV removed from private property had elapsed....minimum of 96 hours after notifying the police department before the vehicle can be removed. This allows the vehicle owner time to remove the vehicle themselves. After the tow, we then sent out the required legal paperwork to attempt to reach the vehicle owner. The vehicle owner did claim the vehicle and actually had us perform some repairs on the RV. That is all the information that I can give. Also, there have been a LOT of comments suggesting that I should have used cones to block off the area, and those are valid suggestions. Had the truck had the cones on it that it should have had, I would have done so. Each of our trucks is suppose to have a minimum of 5 cones, but for some reason the cones were missing out of this truck. I didn't remove them, but I should have made sure I had cones before going into this situation, so I will take ownership of that. As it was, we made due with what we had. Ethan had my back. Our job is always dangerous even during the best conditions. Thanks for everyone's concern. Thanks for watching and God bless.

For all of you asking if maybe the owner is dead inside, (1) in he introduction Ron states that the Sheriff was contacted by the store and (2) this is from over a month ago; if the owner was dead inside it would have been been discovered long before this and we would never be seeing this video. Ron NEVER publishes a recovery that involves a fatality.

Being that the RV was locked i doubt they made entry. With no evidence of a death or crime they cant just enter private property

@@63jeepj20 You’re only half right. They(police) could have made a good faith entry to check the well being of the occupant without evidence of a death or crime in progress. Where you’re half right is that, had they done so and uncovered evidence of a crime, that evidence would have been inadmissible in court unless they obtained a search warrant to collect it without the fact that it exists as justification for the warrant. I know thats a very hither and yon way to explain it, but it is correct. I as a paramedic have made many, many good faith entries(with and without PD present) for the purpose of checking the wellbeing of the occupant(who usually isn’t home, but I digress). The PD can’t enter private property for the purpose of conducting a criminal investigation without permission from either the owner or the court(a search warrant), but there is more than one reason to force entry into private property without the consent of the owner or court.

I liked toward the end, where Ron was explaining to Ethan the proper turning techniques when he is in his father's place. He will always remember what he was taught that day and will live by it his whole life. It reminds me of a saying I once heard. Train up a child in the way he should go. Even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Ethan asked a crucial question: "Do we have a stop sign?" Shows he has some knowledge of how to stay safe. A bit surprised Ron that you didn't put out some cones while you were under the RV. Was half pie expecting someone to try and use the park while you were under and take your legs out.

Watching this i also see a lot of life lessons being taught a good work ethic being the most important. Sadly this has been lost over the years. Anyone else catch the wrench trick for leverage? Uncle taught me that when i was helpin on dirt track racers couple years back. My dad even showed me. If they're out there, they're hard to find. I've been "Googling" for probably 30 minutes. If they're out there, they're gonna be expensive! Plus, with the amount of weight you'd be pushing around, I'd be afraid of it rolling away and hitting something. Even hooked to the truck, it'd be afraid of it jack knifing.

They exist - look up machinery skates. Need 100 ton capacity - just order or rent them. Battery powered versions exist for heavier loads. Once you get over 100 tons they become special order devices. The biggest load I’ve seen shifted was just over 6000 tons.

Happy Belated BIRTHDAY, Ethan!! 👍🍻🙌 🎊 Just like driving in MA there, Ron! All too familiar to me. Problem up here is, you'd never in a million years be able to back up ANY distance without a spotter behind you at ALL times. People will deliberately sit there right behind you staring at your backup lights coming right at them, knowing if you hit them YOU will be in the wrong and they'll get a fresh paint job (or just junk the vehicle and pocket the cash). Others will also grossly miscalculate the time required to sneak behind you to that coveted parking spot, and will appear out of nowhere to get broadsided by your rig or load. This happens when you're driving FORWARD, let alone backing up! 😉 Glad to be out of that industry. You're truly blessed to live where you live, Ron!
