Brilliant video Sid, super detailed. I think another reason your video’s are so successful is you go into the intricate detail from start to finish. I think that’s what’s sets you apart from similar Y.T channels. Brilliant on the H&S too, the only thing I would suggest is would you consider wearing a helmet. I know your very confident & capable on ladders but you just never know also it’s a perception thing if you know what I mean 😉 I got a job last year and even though I put in a higher price than my competition I won it on the basis I wore a helmet & high vis vest! Another great job 😃👍🏼

On gutters like these that go straight into the ground, anything thats handy, some times tape them up sometimes shove a few towels in there, I prefer popping a towel in there. But if you can disconnect them and hang a bucket underneath it its much better and cheers mate!

Hi mate, this roof cleaning looks really hard dangerous work. Do you prefer doing it than window cleaning? For me nothing comes close to the earning potential of window cleaning compared to other offshoots of cleaning, gutters, conservatory roofs, driveways that I have tried. It's so more enjoyable whilst not having to work hard for it. People tell me that doing these bigger priced jobs makes them more money but when I figure out how long it takes them to do a job and how hard they have worked for it, I'm still making much more money than them per hr just cleaning windows with my feet on the ground. Although yesterday I was poling a window and ended up walking backwards into a fish pond. That's a one off thing though
@PartridgeExteriorCleaning3 жыл бұрын
The legendary Polzn Bladz, how's it going mate? Yeah the fish pond situation isn't ideal but better than stepping off scaffolding, long way down :D If I had a complete compact round and was working 7 days a week I wouldn't be able to earn what is possible with this type of work that I can do in 4 days, however, possible is the word there, Getting the amount of roofs in to do two decent sized ones a week isn't easy. I'm averaging two a week at the moment but I know that wont last forever. I have a small round for pocket money and can always advertise for gutters, driveways etc to fill up the month if it's a quiet one but it's definitely a lot more stress in the long run than a good window cleaning round. It's why it's always worth pricing these jobs well as they are only done once (: Thanks for the comment mate, watched your vids for years!

Admiring my work the other day walking backwards, ended up doing a backward gambol over a plant pot :D
@polznbladz32423 жыл бұрын
@@PartridgeExteriorCleaning Thanks for getting back. I've always been on the cheaper side since I began window cleaning in comparison to other window cleaners. That helps build up a round and also hitting particular age groups, like older retired people. They are more reliable and more likely to be happy to see you instead of turn you away. Like with anything we do in our work, it takes one mistake and it can be all over. I admire your hard work ethic I am sure it pays off

Hi sid how much would a basic roof cleaning set up cost roughly?
@PartridgeExteriorCleaning3 жыл бұрын
Basic you can get everything you need to do a job for less than 600 but that’s not including costs for the first job upfront like scaffolding and chemicals. If you want a good setup you’re looking at a grand minimum for quality equipment and everything you need. I’m still upgrading things as I go every month 👍

How do you remove the run off out the gutters sid , do you use a wet vac and do you think that new biocide your using is more effective than the algo clear pro, great informative video again
@PartridgeExteriorCleaning3 жыл бұрын
Hey Justin, I’ll just pop them off wherever I can or if they can’t be removed I’ll just block them with tape or towels then mop up the run off in the guttering. A vac would be better but I have no room for one at the moment unfortunately. And I think it could be however I have upgraded my brush, I use a higher flow also now so the effects I’m seeing could be due to that too. But GKPRO certainly does it’s job so there’s no point me going elsewhere now unless I suddenly started having issues with it Cheers mate!

great job Sid. But not sure you should be doing promotional material videoing yourself up a ladder with total disregard to health and safety rules. The HSE states if you must work from a ladder then you must have 3 points of contact at all times. You should be doing a risk assessment for every job
@PartridgeExteriorCleaning3 жыл бұрын
I did put a disclaimer on the screen mate, in my risk assessment that was the only way I could see fit to do get certain sections. It’s taken at your own risk as a sole trader, if I was sending an employee up there then I agree but I’ve spoken to a HS advisor about it and they’ve confirmed it’s fine as long as the customer or general public or any staff aren’t at risk.
