@julianhawker76723 жыл бұрын
You would be wise to splice a double check valve into your mains fill hose , where it goes onto the outside tap, as many of your customers outside taps won't have one built in....... This will make the unit comply with water bylaws for backflow prevention, as it looks like it won't ATM and you would be in a lot of trouble if any biocide got back into the water mains. HTH

You have been on a spending spree :-) Sounds like you did a great deal on the dosetron, I thought they were about £800 just for the unit without box, tank, pressure reducer etc. It should make the end of your days a little easier. Looking forward to seeing how you get on.
@PartridgeExteriorCleaning3 жыл бұрын
Ah i know mate, few weeks of being tight for now I think xD Yeah I always thought you'd be looking over a grand for one but this is a weaker model I'm presuming that is only rated to certain pressure but that's fine for this line of work anyway! Cheers mate hopefully it's as good as it looks, I really don't want to be disappointed
@midlandscleaners17053 жыл бұрын
D3RE25 is the expensive one £800 + as it mixes at higher ratio of 4 - 1, they use a different dosatron for biocides as ratios are only 50 - 1, ps there painful to work with if your pumping straight from the dosatron through the reel as you lose all pressure much better to use a buffer tank and pump from there
@PartridgeExteriorCleaning3 жыл бұрын
I will keep that in mind thank you mate, I’m going to shorten those hose on the wfp reel and have a longer 3/4 inch hose instead and see how it goes with that for a while till I get a pump sorted if I really need it 👍

Good morning I'm from Belgium and I speak French so excuse me for the Google translation :) I am interested in this dosatron system but I read in the technical sheet that it injects a maximum of 5% of chemical product (hypochlorite prohibited) what brand of very concentrated anti foam for roofing do you use for this system? me the anti foam to dilute is at least 10% and sometimes it's 20% because the roof is very dirty... great your videos Thanks a lot have a nice week end Christopher
