I must tell you, I’ve become rather obsessed with your videos lately , a little while ago I lost a deer friend , he was like an older brother to me , you remind a lot of him , kind natured and very assured. Around this time of the year we’d be out on our mountain bikes or going for walks up the woods , he did start teaching me how to hunt , we would often talk about how we was going to do a camping trip almost like a tour of the southwest , he slowly began to build supplies like torches , bbq, kitchen ware , he also began to start taking an interest of filtering water , he really wanted to live off the earth , no phones , just him a Mother Nature. He was a dab hand a making things and start to covert his works van into a camper , by the end it looked unreal , so professional. He gave me his jetboil as a gift as he knew I was struggling to get anything for our planned trip . When he was sadly taken I couldn’t stand anything to do with camping . Only until a few days ago I randomly found your video , I’m sure you may not even see this comment but I want you to know you’ve kind of helped me , you’ve bought a piece of my friend back to me . I’m thinking of doing a solo camp . Getting lots of ideas from you , sadly I think I’ll be using a Halfords tent 😂. But I just wanted to say thankyou for being you . Honest and beautiful videos ! Keep it up and sorry to be waffling .

I lost a best mate and a parent within a couple of weeks of each other and it's very hard. I had tried to get my mate to stop working and go away with me but sadly it never happened. He got sick over time unfortunately and then it was too late. I bought some of his gear off his wife and it goes with me on trips now as well as using some of it at home. I also take my Mums cast iron frypan on trips and have a couple of other things from her that I use. I'm sure your mate would have wanted you to go out and do what he was doing and it will eventually help you as well imo. I'm likely much older than you but it helped me and made me realize just how quickly things can change in life. All the best to you and take care.

Andy, our ambassador of Mexican cuisine in the UK, you are really crazy about cooking, it is obvious that you love to cook, here in Mexico there is not a Mexican who goes camping with plans to cook tamales or tongue tacos, most of them when we take them are frozen to reheat, they are very good both for dinner and for breakfast accompanied by a good "coffee from pot" café de olla that is prepared in a clay pot with a little cinnamon and piloncillo to sweeten it. Thank you for showing our cuisine in such an extraordinary way, greetings and a big hug for you and everyone on the channel from Guadalajara, Jalisco. Mexico.
