Grew up eating pear salad! My wife thought it was the weirdest salad ever. She has grown to like it. I request it all the time. We added a cherry to the top to make it fancy.

We have also been looking at those little fire pits. Pretty cool. With all the fires we get up here in Oregon, open fires at campgrounds are going away. The outdoor theater is the most popular thing we started when we camp. We get all the kids at our campsite for movie night

For your STANLEY 2 Cup Cookset: put a small piece of Aluminum Foil and put it OVER THE POT'S TOP but UNDERNEATH THE METAL LID. That holds in the heat and the steam for a rolling boil. Pear Salads. Yep, Southern thing for sure 👍. MY family made it 2 different ways. 1) Cold or room temperature Pears like you made yours and 2) Pears put under the Broiler with Peanut 🥜 melted inside the Pears. The 2nd one was my personal favorite of the two types. Cut ✂️ your Lettuce beforehand and when ready add a spoonful of Pear Juice and then toss it once before eating it. It'll make a huge difference when the flavors come together ❤ 😋.

Yeah, i remember the pear salad thing but we used mayonnaise cuz Miracle Whip has no place in our lives! 😂 Looks like you've got your set up dialed in now. That East Oak fire pit is the perfect size for truck camping. Those lanterns really add warmth to the setting. Now you need to sew up a bug screen you can attach to the awning

Loving the revised set up. You’re definitely dialing it in. Quick tip for your canned beverages especially when the bugs are out. I use a plastic top off a cartridge tube of automotive grease. You’ll think there’s no way but it works great.

Brian, I have been following the same set-up, as well as a very similar camping path, as you for a while. We too have a travel trailer for family adventures, and I have a NOBO 10.6 “adventure camper” for solo adventures or times out with my 10 yr old son. I have been debating selling the NOBO and converting my F-150 to a “part-time” overland rig. This video sold me!! I have been closely watching your evolution recently with the retractable tonneau, the rack, the tent, and the awning. You have dialed it in my friend! I call you that simply because I feel we are kindred spirits, my girlfriend shakes her head when we watch your videos because she is amazed at how many of the same camping gadgets we have in common. The one thing I am missing… an East Oak mini fire pit! And man do I love that blue color! My son does too, I rewatched this video last night with him. Also, sometime in the near future I would like to reach out and talk to you directly about your ongoing impressions of the cover, rack, tent and awning…because I am serious, I think I may duplicate this exactly.
