The most amazing thing watching your channel is the use of common stuff as Greeble's, in the last year or so i collected some interesting stuff. My daughter and I have watched probably hundreds of hours of your builds and have been inspired to build our own droids, models, etc. Sadly, she's in middle school now and is not really into that stuff much anymore, it's clothes and hairstyles now! I wonder how many viewers are like me. I watch this channel even though I don't care about Star Wars. I watch because the hosts are great in front of a camera, they're talented in what they do and the production quality is amazing. I watch everything from restoring Hot Wheels, making swords, building race cars, to science experiments, making wooden furniture, building reef tanks, etc. I personally don't have any of these hobbies but I love to watch people that are passionate and skilled in what they do. I say build what you want and they will come as long as you are still you.

Love everything about this. Many of the content creators I follow have used the term "burn out" in the not too distant past. It's easy for me as a content consumer to say, "Do what you love and the rest will follow." -- but I think those that make content as a full-time job have extra pressure to comply with The Algorithm. It's hard to imagine someone being both passionate and burned out, so hopefully your passion will drive you to create for you and not for the Master Control Program. We will still be here.

I really liked this video. Always great to hear some of your thoughts behind the scenes. While I don’t have a room build and don’t really plan one, I love stealing ideas and techniques from y’all. You guys have inspired me and I’ve used that inspiration to do some really fun Halloween displays that all the kids in my neighborhood love (pirate ship, mad scientist lab, etc). I'm sure it's tempting to lean into all of that 'how to grow stuff', but you have developed a dedicated audience because you’re talented and imaginative, and because you’ve ALWAYS approached everything in such a genuine way. Wow that must’ve been rough I had a single tooth transplant and that was rough, well the tooth bit wasn’t but the bone graft beforehand was, my face and neck swelled up and I felt rough! With just the one! But worth it afterwards and you’ll feel a lot better in yourself physically and mentally , although you say it’s not cosmetic it will make a difference to your self esteem and confidence so good luck and love the channel

❤️❤️ I remember having all my teeth what was left of them I should say removed and the next year laid up in the hospital for a week with pneumonia and then the fallowing month having open heart surgery replacing the aortic valve and three months to recover before having to go back to work. This recovery time was when I found your channel making Star Wars stuff. You have been an inspiration to many people to get up and do something really cool. It’s been three years since I was laid up and that’s when got my first 3D printer and I have a small business going with ten printers going 2 resin and eight FDM. Still going strong. 👍

Glad to see your doing well, glad to see you put your health first. Can't wait to see what you have in store for us with future content. I wish I sent this question in, but what advice would you give someone that wants to try kit bashing for the first time and doesn't know where to begin. Cause I have an idea to kit bash a ship similar to the Millennium Falcon but having trouble trying to figure where to start and the process I should use.

Brian, we are overjoyed that you are both doing well, and that your health was put as a priority. Your emotions of pain, joy, and relief came through when you spoke of this, and I'm sure we do not know half of the story. As far as the "almighty" algorithm. Yes, it may help your project business, but most of us do not watch these videos because of forced content. As the second ever and continuing Patreon I say this. Do what you love, and this community will support you. We don't watch for clickbait titles, the "must have a minimum of one video per week, but one per day is better", or the sensational and outrageous material that other channels follow. We watch for the journey and inspiration of our own collective journey. Burnout is real, and it is usually caused because of external demands, be it real or imagined. Don't be a slave to the algorithm. Free yourself, and your channel will thrive more than it ever has. Put simply; we are all just fans appreciating the work, experience, and comradery of other builders. Be it room building, droid building, or even world building. Your journey attracts us not just because it is Star Wars related (and sci-fi in general), but because it is well shot, well communicated, and organized as much as any large-scale project can be. Building something out of nothing takes on a different meaning when... None of us were together in one place before your channel. The two of you have built this huge fanbase - out of nothing but your collective knowledge, imagination, excitement, and perseverance. In the end, the journey is what matters, right? Isn't that journey made better with friends? MTFBWY and Happy Building!

Just don't get hooked on the opiod pain killers. Tylenol 3 did nothing for me when I had my teeth removed.

Sorry to hear you had medical dental problems, that's no fun at all. I'm also glad that you're on the mend even if you're still feeling the effects. Now that I've been watching your videos I'm eyeballing a nook in the den but don't have the artistic inspiration you do. As always, thanks for sharing. PS: Please don't let what you enjoy turn into W O R K . I'd rather you just setup a camera and let it roll than got burnt out with all the production aspects of youtube.

@@TheSmugglersRoomI feel for you and the pain. My Brother got implants several years ago. Me? I'm 72. Don't even care about either. Had all my teeth removed in 2008 when I had dental insurance.. Dentist said nobody ever starved for not having teeth. I miss a few thing like nutmeats (peanuts, Brazil nuts, cashews, etc.) and chips, but no problems with softer foods.
