Brad, you have the most easy to follow and professional videos on KZbin for REW PERIOD! I could see you making an entire REW course with the knowledge that you have. Keep up the great work:

Hi, I have been using rew for a few months now, but never tried those features as I didn't know what I was doing, but I will have a go now that I've seen how to use them, also, it's nice that you're now using a Mac for your calibration, and can't wait for your next full rew calibrations, well done, please keep up the good work

Hey Brad if we are doing the cross correlation/vector average first, do we use our vector average and aligned sum in the alignment tool? Or do we use the vector average and one of our subs in the alignment tool?
@pnevin98 Жыл бұрын
Brad, Thank you for this video! I'm glad I watched it before using the SACT because now aligning the impulse of the speakers to the reference speaker will be easier than the one that the Obsessive Compulsive Audiophile had on a video a while a go. I do have Dirac Live with Bass Controll but it's nice to double check the speaker levels and distances.

Thank you! I've been doing a ton of work over the past month or so streamlining my workflow for shooting tutorials. Long story short: the software and workflow I had before made shooting tutorials a real pain trying to manage all the different sources, and then getting into editing meant a lot of time was spent syncing everything up. Now that's much, much easier and it should result in a quicker turnaround. Sorry it has taken so long for the videos to get done, but I wanted to get a system together that would make shooting tutorials in general much easier so I can get more out. Thanks for sticking around!

This is terrific info, thanks. I recently did some measurements to assess crossover for each channel. This impulse alignment feature would have served me better as I did straight averages on the side and rear surround pairs to reference against sub.

12:31 can anything be done for negative numbers? Or just keep going in positives until a respectable result is there
@stev081Ай бұрын
If you have - number on rear it just translates to positive on the other sub. Or start with the one that’s negative and should force you to positive delay on the other sub
