The paint is wonderful but it is the little things that make this hallway special. Things like the new lights, the wall switches, your pictures and the staged items in your glassed-in cabinet. I absolutely loved everything about your hallway.

What an amazing transformation! Nice and bright. Great job! I'm a fan of your work! I'm a DIY-er myself that recently purchased a new home. The projects are never ending!! I painted all our walls white as well. We have lots of doors too! For some contrast I removed the door handles and hinges - sanded and painted them black. I think that would look great in your hallway if your into that look. Either way its amazing.. and so is your little princess!

This was so good! All that dark hallway wood just made me feel sad! I spent 20 years as a “Residential Redecoration Specialist.” Fancy title for painting and wallpapering contractor!😂 I mention this because your prep work is excellent! I believe prep and attention to detail make the biggest difference in how well a project turns out. One idea I can share - when filling all those nail holes and such, Dap shrink-free spackle was my go-to product. It was easier to fill all those little holes and much easier to sand than wood filler. You did a wonderful job and I am enjoying your channel very much!🌸

Just became a fan of ur channel. U should use that cabinet as a linen closet. Keep the glass door. Add white towels and baskets.That would be a great use if u need storage. Great final outcome. Love the clean white look.

You did a great job on the hallway! Next time you are at HD you should pick up one of the plastic lids for paint cans that help you pour without spilling. They're a lifesaver! I love your choice of light fixtures and the carpet runner. Your little helper is growing so fast. She'll be sanding in no time lol Jo

I caulked to cover the spacing between each board since the spacing wasn’t all the same... these boards are the originals from when the house was built in 56’ so there’s been some gapping/spacing ... surprisingly no the faux tree sits perfect right before the knob of the door to be able to enter... ! It sits more flat against the wall then it appears !

I live in a older house that had wood walls. It’s painted and I love how it looks. Unless you live in a cabin in the woods, wood wall don’t work.

I only like it as accents or not an entire room. The wood in the hallway was just too dim.. and I think switching the lightbulb added that extra brightness it needed to make it more inviting as opposed to dark and gloomy like it was. thanks for watching! ❤️😊
