I kid you not, absolutely everything you have is right up my alley! Shabby chic look, pink, leopard, creme color, cupcakes is so me! You've really inspired me to start decorating my room and make it my own. My husband wouldn't mind, I've just held off for so long. I really like how you, honor and express your style, and your sweet partner probably feels like he just envelopes his soul in the essence of you as he sleeps there. To me a woman's room should be where she ends her day, in a pampering, comfy, aesthetically pleasing cocoon. Then begins anew in the morning, where she awakes to inspiring surroundings and has access to what she needs to start the new day. You've really accomplished that. Love it.

Watching the house you are working on now, and this house is so much different Christine! You had so much stuff in this tour. I must say, I like the simplicity path you are on better. It has really jump started me to examine my purchases and things I need to re-home and I am really loving it so far!! We have a long way to go cause my husband doesn't like to let go of his movies and books, but I say, pick some and let the rest go. It is hard to convince him that if he hasn't watched it since we have been married (for 6 years) it is time to let it go, but he just can't do it! Urg, but maybe someday. Till then, I have been tossing things left and right. I am sure one day I will look for some of it and have to re-purchase it, lol!

Thanks! I know it's come a long way, lol. I totally redid my vanity since my old makeup collection video. New desk, new mirror, organizers, perfume moved. I took the glass shelf down when I got the shabby chic mirror, they just couldn't work together. But to keep the space efficient and my table top clutter-free, I needed to go vertical, and the glass towers fit the puzzle perfectly :)

Lol who cares how old or young this room looks! I'm 35 and married and most people say my room looks like it's geared for a 25 year old. My husband lets me decorate it the way I want because he gets to decorate his office the way he wants. I don't care what my friends think of my room. They don't have to sleep in it!

Thank you!! I transferred my jewelry onto my other organizers and it's by our front door now, turned out we love it as our entry way piece, really handy to sit down while putting our shoes on and whatnot.

Yep, no big wedding and fancy dress for me, both Michael and I wanted the most low key wedding as possible. Just us and the judge (who also photographed) It was 9am, we whispered our vows in each others ears, said I Do and that was that. We played in the sun and surf, and then went out to breakfast. :)

Now see that's what's so cool about decorating, it's all up to the individual. You can design each room however you prefer and surround yourself with all the little things you love. What's awesome is decorating your own home requires validation from no one, it's yours! Doesn't matter if anyone disapproves, they don't live there, YOU do. ;)

I just moved from a house to an apartment. I have lot of things in storage but still a lot of stuff I need with me. My bedroom is bigger but didn’t want to crowd it with a dresser/chest/clothes etc. this closet idea is perfect. I have to side by side closets and the boxed storage is what I was thinking of but didn’t know where to start. This is GREAT!!!

Oh definitely, Ross' selection changes weekly here. The mirrored drawers didn't have any name or brand listed on it, I recommend just keeping an eye out for any type of mirrored furniture, if it's affordable, it's a score! ;)
