It's encouraging to know that even world champion callers with as much experience and history of success as you guys have are still learning and I wouldn't say struggling but have to work hard to find the elk and learn both a new area and species. It gives me hope for the next hunt where the elk are hard to find or don't want to cooperate.

I love watching you guys and Born and Raised and Hushin crews, I made my first trip bow hunting elk in southern Colorado this year inspired by you all. I called to 3 bulls and and had one coming but got my wind, I was so excited and it got me hooked, can't wait to go again. Walked 55 miles that week in early September. Thanks you guys inspired me!!! Awesome series! I appreciate how sincere and humble you all are. I absolutely love bow hunting and the art of archery. I've learned so much from watching you. Very exciting and fuels our passion. My friends and family wish we could broadcast "Full Draw Assassins" like you guys have with ELk 101. The perspective is refreshing. We do the same thing and have our own little piece if the pie. Keep up the amazing work as it does inspire the average hunter to challenge him or herself. This year, I was able to help my brother-in-law get his first elk with a bow. It was super exciting to see his emotional triumph after being so close for the past 2 years. Together our "Full Draw Assassin" team has taken 4 bulls on public land in the last 3 years. Much credit has to be given to my Dad who learned the mountain years prior and passed his knowledge onto me. Through the Avenue of KZbin we have benefitted a great deal. The Born and Raised crew, Hush, Elk 101, and Elk Nut have made a difference. We will try to put out some videos this upcoming year to give back to the community that has given us all so much!

Hey Cory! I’m the guy who was in touch with you several years ago regarding how to acquire a Sitka Gear camo cover for my Bugling Bull bugle! You shared that you used a shirt sleeve and suggested that’s what I’d need to do if I wanted one. You went so far as to offer a discount on a shirt if I needed one!! I had a shirt, I cut the arm and I hand sewed a Do it Yerself Doozy!! It’s been great! I don’t need a new bugle tube, but if I received a custom cover...I’d donate my first edition hillbilly bugle to the Sitka Gear museum!! Ps...love my Rocky Mountain diaphragm calls!! 😊👍

Your crew and the Born and raised outdoors crews have been truly an inspiration to my wife and i aswell as my best friend. We hunted this year in north idaho and had the time of our lifes this year we spent 14 days in the mountains and hiked a 100 miles. Seen lots of elk had several close calls but no luck but i still chock it up as a sucessful hunt. We did see Dirk Durham out in north idaho we think he called in the bull we nicknamed lucky. It is great to see a youtube series from Elk 101 crew looking forward to the rest of the episodes.

Your adventure takes me back to my growing up years on the ocean side of the Olympic Peninsula where I began my hunting adventures at age 12 in 1962. My first bow hunt was for elk on the flanks of Mt. St. Helens in 1965. I am still at it, but in Idaho now. You are doing it right. I appreciate the message(s) you are giving young hunters in this video series. thanks.

It is much appreciated that your series remains realistic by sharing both the hits and misses. I appreciate the Strategy for Success portions. Corey, I attended an elk calling seminar you did, and learning the tip of directing cow calls through the bugle tube made ALL the difference for my calling. Thank you. In some areas, where there is not much cover, I have been able to use the ventriloquist technique to throw the sound of the cow calls into thicker cover, and have watched bulls peg the target rather than me which caused them to walk right passed my location. It's one of my favorite things to do. I appreciate you, brother.

Thanks again for the opportunity to watch something that I love to do. Sincerely Kevin

Cory and Donny: you guys do a great job! I’ve hunted elk in Colorado for over 25 years. Your calling techniques are game changers. Rocky Mountain Elk Calls are the best; the tubes are the best in the business - the sounds, tones, and consistency of those sounds are critical! I LOVE ELK101 University; the information presented will make you a better elk hunter! You guys, along with the HUSH Crew, and Born and Raised Crew are the best of the best! Even on those days that animals are few and far between, how lucky are we as elk hunters to get to experience the beauty of the woods? We are currently hunting Montana. My sister and I climbed a gut buster of a hill and as we popped up over the top of the ridge, we were met with a massive open flat sparkling with frozen vegetation. Breath taking....and our gift for that day.

Great series so far guys! I’ve been elk hunting for almost 20 years and I’ve taken nice bulls with both bow and rifle and I purchased (and resigned) for the elk 101 course and learned a lot! My theory is you can never stop learning when hunting these great animals and others! One thing I’ve really taken away from the course and watching your team and the BRO Team is being aggressive, my son and I had a blast this fall chasing a bull for almost 4 hours just staying on him and bugling back and forth! Thanks guys for putting out the series, I know I appreciate it a lot!!
