I was sitting at the office hoping that I would be able to catch the episode before heading home. Question, I have been wondering why your check engine light is on in the truck?
@travisprawitt86186 жыл бұрын
Steven Sullivan it’s a Ford haha
@TJack3036 жыл бұрын
It's a ford, the check engine light is always on. Im a ford owner so I'm not even hating. It's just a fact of life haha. probably a worthless sensor.
@travisprawitt86186 жыл бұрын
Tyler Jackson both fords that I test drove in the last 3 years, I really wanted to buy. Both had check engine lights in the dealer parking lot. It’s a ford thing

@TJack3036 жыл бұрын
@@travisprawitt8618 ya for sure. I wouldn't let a pesky little light keep me from buying Ford. great vehicles and like I said, in my experience its always just been an O2 sensor or something else trivial.

That was awesome. I am super happy that so many hunting crews are producing all of this content. People often say the best way to learn is time in the field but ultimately one can only have so much time spent hunting in one season. This allows everyone gain at least a little experience from a tremendous number of hunts. Great job!
@nickstevens73696 жыл бұрын
You guys put on a good down to earth show. No bs, no making things appear different from what they are. Just real situational hunting and I appreciate that. Thanks for what you guys are doing here. I'm in Montana which isnt any different than the country in Idaho your from. So I can only imagine what the change is like to go hunt in the Oregon forest. New and exciting but different for sure. Hi Corey and Donnie y'all are doing a great job, love the series. I live in New York about a hour out side of buffalo, so I just wanted to say I've been watching your channel elk 101, and a few other day by day series to learn as much as i can because I've been wanting to go out West and try my luck in the mountain's but it always seemed like it would be to much for someone like me that's never been hunting out side of my state, but because of you and a couple other chanals I watch I've got it all set up for next year's archery season for a O.T.C public land hunt in Colorado. So thanks for all the great information and the courage to live a dream of mine, I probably would have never done it if it wasn't for you and other's saying just do it and get on the woods. Thanks a lot and keep up the great things your doing

This is a awesome week just knowing that when I get home from work there's a new episode of destination elk to watch!
@mikeashmon6 жыл бұрын
crazy in that vast habitat, you get a bull shot from underneath you! chock that up to bad luck! the first week can be really good, but it can be quiet. I use your "strategy for success" early, but it's generally an ambush situation. I love the first week on the coast, but often times it's not classic elk action. i'm impressed for your first few days on the coast, you guys are doing good....elk are elk are elk! I chased rockies calling for a buddy this year, first time ever for either of us, we had fun, and it was cool to see that FACT... elk are elk, the basics are the same everywhere, we fine tune for habitat and situation. loving the series so far!

Elk depend on those old growth stands that appear sterile. They provide thermal cover and bedding opportunities where visibility is better for avoiding predators. That said, they need a mix of habitat and logging is crucial in providing feed and escapement cover as reprod timber plantings mature. Great series, Corey!! Its great to depict the realities of our coastal hunting conditions.
@jmulling6 жыл бұрын
Love the series so far. One of the revelations for me is how you move through the forest even when elk are around. Little bit noisier than what I would expect, and different seeing/hearing it versus reading about it in the Elk101 courses.

Hopefully, someday I will meet up with you guys through hunt of a life time or some other event as I am looking to get more involved and give back.
