Omgosh Amry, I can't believe how far Rooster has come 👍 You have done an amazing job on this youngster! You have magical, gentle hands. I loved when he walked right in your tack shed 🤣 he was probably looking for some cookies 😉. You are simply the best trainer I've ever seen! You did everything possible at his young age, from getting him over his head shyness, to picking up all four feet ( your farrier) will greatly appreciate that, moving his hind end over, his shoulders over, getting him to face, just everything 😃. Oh and my personal favorite.....sitting on the fence ABOVE him swinging your stick and string, stimulating swinging a rope, and he didn't even flinch AMAZING 🤩!! You should be very proud of yourself sweet pea, and all the progress you've accomplished with Rooster, Lord knows I'm very proud of you!! He sure is going to be one beautiful boy, seeing all that "roan color" starting to come thru, gorgeous!! Now just how long will he be at your Dad's in the pasture, before you start working with him again?? Can't wait to see him again. Oh and that was so precious when he was nibbling at Bill, saying hey I'm just a little dude, don't hurt me 😉. Loved this video, thanks so much for sharing 😘. Take care and love and Blessings always ❤️🙌 Jennifer

Thank you Jennifer!! Thank you so much ☺️❤️ Rooster and I sure had fun and he is a quick learner ☺️ He will probably be turned out until August/September (ish) so he is going to have a long time to be a horse! It was cute to see the foal clacking in real life action 😃 Until next time 🥰

@@cnahorses CLACKING, I couldn't for the life of me remember what that was called, and I actually learned it from you 😊. It was a precious moment for sure. He really is a very quick learner, and he has so much faith and trust in you, it's a beautiful and remarkable thing to see. I'm so happy he gets to go be a "horse" for a while, then it's back to learning. He's a gorgeous boy for sure, beautiful blue roan. How's Fred doing at your Uncle's house? It was great to see him at Christmas ❤️ I love that old boy. Who does Bill belong too, is he a clients horse? Anyway, great video today honey. Any JACKPOTS coming soon? Please video when possible, I feel cheated if I don't get my "Amry fix" everyday 😉 hahahaha 🤣 Love and Blessings ❤️🙌 Jennifer

Rooster looks great! Curious questions: Will he forget some of it, or will you do periodic tuneups, until he’s ready to be worked to ride (I assume in a year or 2?)….? When he goes back north, will he stay with his younger buddies or will you turn him out with the bigger heard, too? Rooster will be jackpotting before you know it! Great vid! Perhaps, take us on a quick tour of Wickenburg some day? 7K is on the way! Thank you for sharing!
@cnahorses Жыл бұрын
Thank you!! Yes Rooster will probably forget some and need tune ups (just like how people need math tune ups after a summer off of school). I plan on leaving him turned out with the others just being a horse until about August... in that time I will of course say hi and go give him some scratches but most likely no more 'training' sessions until then. When I do work with him next he will be an older yearling so I still wont ride him but I will tune on some of our previous work and maybe introduce things like a blanket on his back or tarp work. I will probably only do 1-2 months training and then turn him back out until May/June of his 2 year old year, and go from there ☺️ We always keep the babies at the house until they are at least 1 year old. At my dads house they have a decent size pasture (the one Sully and Wasabi were in and I showed a few times right after they came home from Nebraska). We just like them to be close by in case and would rather not turn them out in our huge horse pastures until they are a bit older ☺️ . Thank you and great suggestion ☺️ Wohoo!!

@cnahorses Жыл бұрын
Thank you!! You know as crazy as it sounds horses adapt to weather change much much quicker and easier than most of us think. They’re coats do a good job when the temperature drops. We’ll be keeping and eye on him and he’ll get LOTS of good food. Good feed = warmth 😊
