@@KcraeTooOfficial was the answer found for why certain phones weren't supported? Been so long now, you probably have a new phone by now. I just tried to install the root on a ZTE grand max 2 and got the same msg. Made the change to security like he said and nothing.

I had bought a Note 3 in Jan, from India & I do use the 'knox' to personalise the data. It will be very helpful if you resolved my queries. 1. Will this method be tested on Note 3 Exynos variant? Will it work on my phone? 2. Do I've to uninstall the Knox before the procedure? 3. Will it trip the Knox counter? 4. Can I be able to use the Knox again after gaining the root privilege on my phone?

i accidentally hit to disable knox. and it took forever so i hit the back arrow twice and it didn't so i opened the background apps and deleted them all. including super su. now the app is downloaded but I'm not sure if it all there because i guess i cancelled it early. i read in super su description that you need to go into the app to uninstall it because if you try to do it through the play store you can use your root, so thats what I'm doing, I clicked the (Clean) option in the settings and the screen is back to loading and it seems like its taking longer than it should, (almost 6 minutes now). how do i fix this. please reply ASAP. do i need to reset my phone phones root? or will it brick? PLEASE HELP

This is a known bug. After the reboot, SuperSU will work like normal.

That means that KNOX is still intact, which is a great feature of this method. When KNOX is tripped, it will read "Status: Custom" and "0x1".

I was able to download titanium backup and supersu. I also downloaded the root checker app before hand and it said it had root access. I'm very confused lol

Seems as if you did buy a pre-rooted phone. Very unlikely that it came that way from Samsung, so maybe it's a bought-returned-resold device.

It's slow as a brick, overheats, and I just don't like how it looks... would this thing work to get rid of this?
