LoL....so reminded me of when my boys were young! On one adventure we had 2 adult does in milk, 2 kid does in diapers, 2 ducks in a cage and 3 preteen boys all in a jeep cherokee. Hauled them 9 hers from Fl to TN. My boys are in their 30's and love telling crazy Mama stories!

I can't believe how fast you guys blew up! Wow! How wonderful! Congratulations!!! You deserve it! I need a shirt! I would also like to connect with your designer as we have been looking for a place to have shirts made. I didn't see a link in description for her site? Goats getting into gardens is all part of it, lol! Yay, new bucks! Stinks about the vehicle insurance but such a blessing that you got that many donations! Sanubian is an awesome cross! You are so full of beautiful energy! Thank you!

What makes this such a good channel is YOU, Jess. Your obvious love and enthusiasm for your garden...seeing what a thing of beauty you created and just watching you walk through your garden and hearing you talk about so many different subjects, well, it is very calming and just makes me feel good. Besides, your videos get me all fired up about my own garden! (This will be my first fall garden, btw. Thank you for sharing your own fall garden-in-the-making) :-)

So excited for your merchandise, those shirts look really good. I'm about to start posting videos to my channel documenting my homesteading journey. I bought a mobile home for $2,500 and I have a lot of work to do, but I'll be in it and then I'll start getting my garden areas plotted out and amending the soil. My first thing to do as far as animals go is to get a chicken coop and chickens though. Thank you for posting so many videos and encouraging me to take others on the journey with me. Your family is truly is an inspiration.

Jess, I have no idea how you do all that and take care of kids. I tore out all my tomato plants today or what I had left was about 6 plants lol and took out the cucumber plants already have more up and blooming. Fixed dinner and started peeling apples we picked from a friend's tree yesterday. Got half those peeled and put up and just got done making apple cinnamon jelly with the good parts of the peelings and cores. It's now 3am and I am exhausted. I did have 2 grandkids today but the older ones so they did the mowing and weed eating for us. So not like I had to take care of them lol. My garden is much much smaller then yours and i don't have animals to take care of. I hope in between all you do you rest lol. Thanks for such great videos. Big hugs

My fav that freely reseeds itself, grows in any dirt, full sun. I enjoy it on the edges of my garden and yard. Can grow 7 feet tall by frost 😁 Enjoy! Glad to hear your standing in faith waiting for a cash deal. In 2012 I was in an accident with 2 deer taking me out on the coldest night of the year. I cried becauseI I had thought about getting full coverage but didn’t so the front of my van was totaled. I went 6 months without a vehicle. Then I found a front engine of a blue Dodge Caravan that cost $300 and it fit my black Chrysler Town n Country van. I currently have189;585 miles and still going. My identity is not in the vehicle I drive but in my Savior. I often remind myself I am the child of The Most High King.

Thank you for making these fun and informational videos. What about putting diseased plants into the hot pile compost? Would they be killed? And I think there is no way to really avoid fungus and bacteria. Just like with human health, I think making plants stronger by feeding them is probably the only way. Of course, there is also an issue, that our domesticated plants are weaker than wild plants to begin with since we bred them for size and taste, not so much for nutrients and health. That's why I always try to eat my edible weeds.

Unruly goats. Us too. Our ladies have insisted in roaming our small back yard looking for forage. Lol. I’ve obliged. The mower our tall Bermuda grass and ate some weeds. Our baby boys 6months old are in rut and we’re not happy about it, but they got over it. Lol. I turned 3/4 if my compost pile and it was just so darn hot here in phx Az I haven’t got back to it and I had a medical flare up issue. To back to basic needs for the goalies and chickens until this passes and I can unearth some really beautiful compost at the bottom of the pile. I must enlist my family ie kids and cousin to help. Lol

Wow jammed packed full day! Id be interested to know how your handling these torrential downpours and how your figure out when its safe to plant outdoors. Somehow inside i got a quick case of mites or something. Killed a squash that was ready to go out. Some other stuff didnt make it but still holding on to some. Things i planted outside are doing good but after last nights downpour im scared to look. You might not be getting as much of it as gb but my house looked like i lived in a castle with a moat last night. I tried to plant 5 gal. Buckets with lots of perlite in the mixing hoping it will help drainage. But the next problem is keeping the nutrition in the soil from leaching out. How do i figure out how to keep a balanced fertilizing when im not sure what the changes have caused?

Great vehicle choice, I do not like living in debt! I would encourage you to look into Kinder (KEN der) goats. They are a male Pygmy and female Nubian cross. They are a medium sized goat with the milk amount close to the Nubian and the butter fat close to a Pygmy, which has the hightest butterfat ratio. It appears they are more parasite resistant than Nubians are. They are a newer breed but have a more docile personality that some other breeds. Thought they love to play more as a general. I hope you enjoy your new goats and t-shirts!

I was only a young teenager at the time, I canned with both my grandmother's during Summers growing up. I loved it. I know one was BALL all the way. My other grandmother didn't care. She used the old glass jars from stuff she night in the store. Or from yard sales and auctions. She would bid on anything lol. She loved a good auction. Do they still make the Weck jars? How expensive are they? Thanks for the info, I'll check it out. God bless
