In this wide-ranging conversation, Mazyar sits down with Jian live in the Roqe Studio to share his dramatic journey from early life in Iran, to forced exile, to Ukraine, and more recently, Germany. He shares his passion for music and freedom in Iran and his activism during the current uprising. Plus, Mazyar performs two songs live in the Roqe Studio with friend and bandmate, Dr. Pouria Sabetian.

I really wished if I could understand Farsi to get all what Mazyar said in this heart filled interview.. Very touching.. God! Your emotions tell a lot and explaine a lot about your music and magical voice... How precious and hard it is to watch such a warm and very honest talk.. I really hope and do wish that you would have a concert in Vienna soon! I would book immediately despite the fact of the language barrier, but music and true feelings are the best true language that knows no boarders.
