Roy's swing is who I try to mimic. He rotates very well and generates effortless power. He's a long hitter and not very tall compared to the other long hitters on tour.

One of the keys to Rory's swing is the trigger move before the club even moves from the ball. That pressure shift to front and then to rear foot. Shame it's not in any of the clips as it's a nice selection of swings.

Yeah, it looks like he kicks his right knee to the target and opens up his left hip a bit before the takeaway. I hit the ball a lot straighter and farther when I do that.

His hips pushing laterally towards target and back staying to target longer period of time to start downswing helps him to maintain his in to out path

It’s an natural move. Look how much he’s loaded into right side in backswing , it’s naturally going to fire like that. Not everything in golf is so hard

His signature driver swing, the jumping, has become less visible over the years. It has come to look more like iron swing, smoother, much like the swing of another young long distance hitter on the PGA.
