Absolutely. My grandson is quarter Mexican and lives in Texas with his mother. My son and his first wife divorced and it breaks my heart that I don't get to see him except twice a year. Last June, I played Selena the movie for him. He lives near Corpus with his mom and she likes heavy metal. I've been to Texas visiting him and I love your State. Texas is beautiful with beautiful people and the Latinos are so friendly. I wanted to teach my grandson some of his culture because his mother cooks Mexican, but acts white. I loved her as a daughter in law and she treats my grandson well. I once told her that if my son tried to take him from her, I would testify FOR her. She's a good Mom. My grandchildren just aren't as into music as I am, but my youngest went back to Texas and asked his mother to buy him the Selena movie. He likes Como Le Flor.

I will admit that I knew of Selena before she passed away. I appreciate all the footage and the narration "cheapens" the combination of footage. Selena represented so much soul, beauty, talent, love and personality and (if I didn't know better), I would have been turned off by the narration alone. It sounds like an 11-year old kid came up with it. Not to be too judgmental and it's great to understand that voices that sound a certain way should narrate particular footage and this isn't it. The person's voice is perfect for audiences that are 8-15 years old.

You can't recomend someone you don't know well, that was a total stupidity and admited feeling guilty. Second fatal mistake old man was, do not call the police when he found out sociopath stealing money from Selena. They are both responsible for Selena's death, nobody can blame Selena..........How do you deal with psychopath, if you don't know it's psychopath ????????????????? I was in shock and then tears came down. Amazing beautiful talented woman was taken away to early. Anyways great documentary.

I know how long this took you to edit every frame. My granddaughter did it once and I don't believe she's done it since. You did a beautiful job. Everyone needed this video because especially this year, (and it's taken me a year to realize that in the past I was wrong), when on March 31st 2019 Selena will be gone exactly the same amount of time that she lived on this Earth. I thought it was last year but didn't add in the months past her 23rd birthday that took her only days from being 24 years old when that woman intentionally took her life ...and with premeditation. Oh yes, I believe her death was planned step by step because it was a "thought out process" two weeks from the tax deadline, with a gun in hand. Yolanda had been already fired prior to the meeting of March 31st in that motel room at the Days Inn. The only reason Selena was going to meet Yolanda was to get her tax papers for the businesses that she purchased because the IRS last date for filing is always April 15th and Selena was in a rush to get the papers before Yolanda destroyed them. I always wondered why she wouldn't wait to file an extension, but Yolanda would have ripped those papers up to get revenge, so Selena went to her death, basically because of money. Thank you again for all the work you put in on this video. I am also a lifetime musician, front singer, as were my parents. I have lived the same life as Selena and totally understand everything she went through in that profession. It was never easy. Thank you again.
