People had the same doubts when ManCity sold Sterling to Chelsea, but City still went on to win the league. Chelsea can be a challenging team to play for, and I believe Sterling, like Havertz, would thrive better at Arsenal. Not every player is suited for Chelsea's environment and if we are being honest Palmer deserves the pay Sterling is getting. Hopefully, Real Madrid don’t come knocking.

It’s one thing making it clear to the player privately, but this has only publicly lowered the value of Sterling, giving Arsenal the leverage to completely and utterly rip Chelsea off in this deal. Paying majority of the wages of a player who’s on £325k a week for one of your biggest opponents to utilize him, is a horrible piece of business and is partly due to the comments made by Maresca.

I’m not happy with arsenals transfer window, I think we had the money and squad space to really go big on a marque signing like the names being touted in the summer. That said Stirling with his record and him clearly being hungry to prove himself and Chelsea paying most of his wages is great business and I’ll absolutely love it if he embarrasses Chelsea in the league

Rory became so toxic in past few months, it's unbelievable to watch. Suddenly he doesn't know how team management works and keeps saying somebody is coward....I didn't want Maresca, I didn't want Poch either etc. But some has to admit that at this time Enzo Maresca is trying to build some system in very bloated squad and was given a lot of options and authority by the owners to do so. And if he thinks that Raheem doesn't fit in this system (and I massively agree on that) it's his power to deal with that. And so he did along with rest of management. I don't get where Rory got this idea that conducting managerial role in this way is cowardly. It's still also true that we shouldn't ever help Arsenal with any favors. But Rory is so much out of the reality now that he'll try to find any excuse for his toxic demeanors. Such a shame.
