I took my kids to see him at a club in corpus Christi where was rehearsing in the afternoon. He bought them a Shirley Temple. They have never forgotten it. Are grown now and still text me when they come across one of his songs on the net. Thanks for uploading this.

I use to have this on a 45, can someone please tell me the name of the song that was on the flip side? I no longer have it to look or to play. But I remember I loved the song. Please let me know if anyone has it or can remember it, I've scanned all the ones listed in the directory but since it didn't get air time it's pretty obscure. I want to say it was on Capital records, I just remember the label being red or orange
@WickerBillVintageCountryMusic4 жыл бұрын
It was a Capitol records 45 and the song's title was "Try To Reason Why", also written by Sam Neely. It is only available, just like you had it , as the b side of the 45rpm record. It's possible I may have it and if so I'll let you know and play it when I work back around to the 70's era.

@@WickerBillVintageCountryMusic Thank you so much. I would greatly appreciate your time and consideration for this. I was a star struck 15 yr old when that record came out. I held on to the 45 up until 2003 when I literally lost everything I owned in a flash. And this is on my list of things that need to be replaced. . Would it be available to download if you do have it.? Again Thank You so much for your reply.
