One of the things may be that because Rose is not attracted to men, she looks at them like she looks at a beige wall; they are just there. No lingering looks. No prolonged eye contact, unless it is a friend. Basically, she treats dudes, as if she were a straight dude. Rosie, although, she is married and faithful, is bisexual, so she treats men in a way many women who are attracted to men do. Rose might open a door for a guy. Very good pts. I think it’s all about the vibe. Oddly enough I prefer to date bisexual women. Usually bi women tent to be chill and secure in themselves. I also think depending on my mood I can practically be asexual. I would be content if I’m never in a relationship again but I think that’s also because as I age I really dislike people. The other part is I say to people I’m gay but then if I want to have an in depth convo I’ll say I’m 90% gay and open to the idea of dating a guy who meets my standards (they are few and my mother figure would love if I were to date my male friend and get pregnant but she’s also wonderfully open hearted and has tried to set me up with women) but I’ve had far more men check me out and be inappropriate towards me than women. But women are also often more subtle at checking me out. Unfortunately women can be judge mental and do an appraisal at the same time and that annoys me because it’s just rude. It all comes down to the vibe. But at 33 and during covid I have no desire to date. Sexuality is complicated in my opinion.

This is an old video so no one will see this comment, but I think it goes back to gender roles in heterosexual marriages. Girls are meant to be the nurturing housewives while men would be the assertive money makers. Naturally girls grew up being conditioned that assertive personalities are what is attractive and men are conditioned to believe nurturing personalities are more attractive (with some exceptions obviously). I think Rose fits that assertive role and with gay women, they subconsciously sorta fit that idea with a dominant persona being attractive. Rosie is more tender and nurturing, at least that's what appears to the average outsider, and that's what typically attracts men more.
