Homemade SNOW PLOW for LAWN TRACTOR

I found a free craftsman snowplow in the trash. Great find, only I have to engineer a way to mount it and craft a lift mechanism.

By adding an 1 1/2 in a ABS black pipe to the bottom edge of the plow, it won't dig into the ground or gravel or stone driveways, Just cut a straight line down the length of pipe that fits the width of the plow, and slide it on to edge of the plow!!

Suggest adding 2 "wear shoes" on the bottom edge. Cheaper and easier to replace than a new cutting edge! Less drag when plowing with only the two shoes instead of 42" of steel!

How about using small wheels at the ends of the blade or just begind so that theres only small cap between ground and blade and wheels are basicly supporting the blade

Nice fabrication. Mount a bicycle brake handle and cable on bar for plow lift. Mount a u shaped bracket out of flat stock and secure it above the trip lever for the plow rotator. Squeeze handle and turn tractor opposite direction of desired plow angle. I ce pliw swings release handle.

Leave the deck on, it will add weight to the mower and should give you better traction.

Very nice work making the mount. Are you near a military airbase? That sounds like a C-5 Galaxy.

Well.... its winter now lets see it push lol. I lave a DGT 6000 that used to power a snow thrower but the snow thrower is trrashed
