Thanks for another great review man! The i5 appears to be a great value, but I'm not sure the case would accommodate my Spinfit Omni XL tips (...I seem to have over-large ear canals). I recently tried the Earfun Air 2 NC and had to send them back because of the over-tight case. I think I need to limit my search to buds with larger "clam shell" type cases unfortunately.

How is the i5 for metal music? Can it keep up and sound good? I have the Jabra Elite 7 Pro...are they better? I got them a couple years ago but sound isn't great

I use my own i5 for even Extreme Metal music so yes they are suitable. I haven't tried Jabra Elite 7 Pro so I have no idea how they compares

I found myself not enjoying the treble of the i3 after a few weeks using it. Treble was too artificial for me. But the batery is indeed impressive. I hope they improved the teble in the i5.

Thanks!. Both Ultrasonic and i5 competes neck to neck when it comes to sound quality. Just need to consider the battery endurance where i5 will offer almost double what Ultrasonic offers for the same load of running LDAC
